I had three wonderful experiences at Posters on Board with Becky and Steve. I brought in 2 photos I wanted put into a frame, not having a clue how I wanted them framed, but Becky guided me every step of the way, from the placement of the photos in the frame to the color background that would look the best with my wall and other pictures already hung. Becky and Steve are real pros and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing. Then Steve brought the final work to my condo and hung it. He measured the space, stepped back to be sure it was where it looked the best, measured again, then pounded in the nail. He wanted to be sure it was perfect, and it was. Just a few weeks ago I brought another photo in for framing and it's absolutely perfect. Again, Becky helped me decide what I wanted, and Steve brought it to my condo for hanging. Read moreI had a somewhat rare copy of a map of a "Paris view from a bird's eye" that is no longer available that I had casually mounted on cardboard. I was able to remove it with only minor damage to the edges and sent it to Posters on Board for a more durable mounting.
I was absolutely delighted to receive the mounted map with all the little wrinkles and ripples smoothed out and minor tears repaired on a durable mounting that should last for a very very long time, and which my heirs can probably sell for quite a bit if they want to.

When it came my turn, the owner briefly began talking to me, but her annoyance at the small size of my request was fairly obvious. When another customer entered the store, the owner turned away from me instantly in favor of helping the other customer, who was picking up an order that obviously was more lucrative. This was not a matter of handing off a package that was already paid for, but an elaborate 10-15 minutes of conversation while I was literally ignored.
