Iām not sure if it was just me overthinking the situation. But I would like to bring to light that I felt very bombarded and judged. I walked in with my son in a stroller and I couldnāt really figure out where his size was so I walked up and down a few times. Then I stumbled upon the bamboo Onesies that they had for sale which are obviously priced more than the other items because theyāre brand new. I ended up finding one that I like, and I hooked it onto the handlebars of my stroller and continued about my shopping trip. I was asked probably three times if they could help me, I politely said no thank you Iām just looking. And one of the ladies Iām assuming it was the owner Was walking in the same direction as oh Iām sorry you can go first. She took it upon herself to grab the bamboo onesie off of my stroller and put it on the counter and said that she was going to hold it for me. Also, letās remember that prior to that. She had already asked me if she could help me or hold onto anything for me and I said no. After that, I stared at her for a minute and she gave me a weird look and I tried to think nothing of it. Maybe she was just trying to be helpful. But I honestly felt like she was judging me, and thinking, as if I was going to steal the item I felt very violated and I will not be returning. Sadly, my sister-in-law had a very good experience with this place and I decided to give it a shot. Maybe donate a few items that my son has grown out of, but I donāt think that I will be returning because of the interaction it made me feel very , judged and upset. Makes me really sad. I really wanted to support a small business especially thatās...

From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. They greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly helpful throughout our entire shopping trip. They even took the time to engage with my little one, making sure he felt included and excited about being there.
What really stood out to me was how family-friendly this store is. They have a fantastic play area for kids, complete with toys and activities that kept my little one entertained while I shopped. It was such a relief to have a safe and fun space for him to enjoy, allowing me to browse without any worries.
I had asked for a pair of snow pants for my son. My sister went back to the shop and she remembered us and told us they had a pair available. They remember their customers and are just overall sweet.
The owners truly understand the needs of families and children. They were patient, kind, and accommodating, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to create a welcoming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt first, I thought Richland was just a little too far for me to go, given that I live as south as you can in Kennewick. After my recent experience with New 2 U, I will absolutely be making the trek more often! THEY ARE WORTH IT!
Yes, they have an awesome selection of kids clothing and gear. Its all well organized. The prices here cannot be beat. They really are passing savings on to their customers.
The customer service here is also excellent. I mentioned to the store owner (who was inside, working on her own merchandising, which cannot be said about some other franchise owners in the Tri) that I was looking for a particular item, a sleeper for my baby. She knew there wasn't one in the store but that she would keep me in mind when one came in. Wow, a children's consignment store that will hold items for you! Again, something a neighborhood franchise won't do.
Every time I've gone in, I am warmly greeted, told about some offer, sale or special they may have going on or that is upcoming. The owners are connected to other small businesses in the area and consistently give back to their community. WHAT A TREASURE!
I take a class in Richland once a week...guess I have a place to make a detour to...
