Read moreThis is the worst service I have ever received in a bar. I had no less than 3 employees be extremely rude to me. I sat at the bar right in front of a Male bartender. I absolutely could not get his attention to order a drink for over 30 minutes. Eventually I made eye contact with a black female bar tender. I asked for a liqueur I have ordered before there. She wasn't sure if it was available. I politely asked her to check. If looks could kill I would not be writing this review. She indicated she was just going to go over to the other side of the bar and help the other patrons. WTH? At the end of the night my car was parked in a handicapped spot right outside the door. The staff absolutely would not let me exit the door near my car. The same black bartender and another women were unnecessarily mean and rude. If I wanted I could sue them for violating the American's with Disabilities Act. Now let's talk about the condition of the bathrooms. See pic above. Gross. Let's just say, if you have any class at all, this is Not the bar for you. I for one will never set foot in...

I would love to see more trees properly placed to shade cars, and better landscaping to attract more shoppers and visitors for lounging and visiting. Mom used to tell me "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." I suppose I one of those beggars, but still, I guess I am in a mood for dreaming.
Just up the road a bit is an old Shari's Restaurant that looks vacant. If only it could be restored (or replaced) I wouldn't mind seeing a breakfast place there.
The disrepair of our strip makes me wonder if our businesses and entrepreneurs still have faith in our ability to grow a diversified economy. Are they afraid to invest? How is the infrastructure? Is Uptown worth the risk of...
