Vault 509 Trading Card Shop — Local services in Richland

I recently came here to sell/trade some of my graded cards. I asked the owner what perfect he pays or trades for and did not answer me. We comped my cards at 900$ and I picked a few things out for trade. He then offered me cards to trade that he comped and Lp when they were really closer to Hp/Mp. By the end of the deal he said he could do 60% of my 900$ value. I was shocked but am not good under pressure so I agreed to the deal which is definitely on me, I know that I could have said no but we had already spent 20+ minutes working out a deal. I felt pressured and took the deal but felt sick as soon as I walked out of the store. All of my slabs were grade 10 or high value 9s. The reason I write this review is just to warn anyone who is looking to sell. I understand card shop has to make money by reselling cards but I feel 60% is extremely low and it was really closer to 45/50 % after recomping with correct condition on some of the cards I was traded. I do also wish the owner would have answered me on what percent he usually buys/trades at when I asked at the beginning of the deal instead of ignoring me and waiting until we were at the end of the deal. I definitely felt as if some pressure was added to agree to the deal after spending all the time figuring out the comps and trades....

Cool staff and place for single cards when they do 85% of the prices but as far as sealed product its always listed way above TCGplayer prices or even scalper prices its ridiculous defeats the purpose of a Card shop in my opinion, dont know if they pay Retail price for there product then its understandable but if they're paying below the retail prices like most card shops do that makes this even worse... charging well above scalper prices and tcgplayer prices is crazy, then to say youre gonna give out a PROMO card stores get for free and say you gotta buy a booster bundle to get it is not a good look... stick to buying from scalpers its cheaper and you avoid the taxes or wake up early for retail prices at select store sadly only way this hobby can stay fun and save your...
