First, The bakery cakes are AWESOME. THIS REVIEW DOES NOT REFLECT ENTIRE STORE.... Shelves are mostly stocked well. Store is neat, Meats are pricey...I went to purchase baby formula that ive been buying from there for 3 months consistently for my grandson. (Which is locked up in office)...., so I asked cashier for specific brand of formula, now keep in mind I was just at Store 1 days before for same formula and I noticed she brought back WRONG formula, so I corrected her, and she went back to get correct formula. Now fast forward to next day, and I got the same cashier, whom was very friendly, I again ask for Same Specific formula, she returned and rang my items up, I paid and left. I got to my car and Realized she got the Wrong Formula AGAIN....I went back into Store, and Manager for front end operations,Named Robyn Johnston, (which I think she Lied)...I explained cashier Again got the Wrong Formula. She immediately had a Non-friendly, Nasty Attitude, told me She would Not return formula. I explained cashier made same mistake the previous day, and yes by this time, I'm upset, and confused by her Nasty attitude. The cashier that made mistake came over and Admitted to manager SHE DID in fact grab the Wrong Formula. The manager Robyn TOTALLY dismissed her admission, and FLAT OUT REFUSED TO EXCHANGE FORMULA. At this point I'm furious because formula is $20.00 per can and Difficult to find. It got to the point where the store manager came out, and basically because because of the fact I was using a WIC card for formula, they Did Not want to make this Right.... I ended up having to purchase more milk..As I was purchasing additional milk, The Caucasians Manager Robyn and Customer service clerk with dark glasses were talking to each other making very Discriminatory statements about me and the fact that I was using a WIC card for the original purchase. I was so flabbergasted I was hearing such filth...I spoke up and they were in shocked because they didn't think I could hear them...I called corporate immediately and couldn't get through to a human, and left message. Never got a return phone call or anything. Never will I go to the store again.....We did a lot of business there. We ordered custom cakes, We often used them to cater our organizations functions. They lost a valuable customer and I'm exposing they're Racist BEHAVIOR. Totally UNACCEPTABLE...My reviews have well over 60k views. So I thankful this will reach many.... I'm donating the 3 cans of Formula. Will update later...
Read moreUsually there is a sweet young girl at the self checkout who has let me MULTIPLE times checkout with more than 15 items. I come here on my lunch break trying to be as efficient and quick as possible, but the last time I went there was some elderly lady who snapped at me that I “cant check out here” when there was literally no self check out line the ENTIRE 25 minutes I had to wait in the regular check out lines. I watched the self check employee the entire time I had to wait in the regular checkout line just stand around and chat with the other employees so it made me feel like she really just did not care to do her job (which is literally just watching people checkout, not very hard). Then, the lady who I unfortunately had to go to to check out was the slowest employee on the entire planet- wasting a ridiculous amount of bags by placing one/two items in a bag and then knotting them so they were difficult to carry to / from my car (when i had brought my own reusable bags too which she totally ignored??). Awful awful AWFUL customer service. I will be using the self checkout from now on regardless of if that woman tells me i can or cannot because I would have been out of the store in 5 minutes rather than literally (timing it) 25 minutes (and i was only behind one other person in line too:/). I understand the 15 items or less during peak hours, but at 10:00 on a work day when the store is literally almost empty, this was an absolutely excruciating long and annoying experience. Moral of the story, its 2022 and we should be a lot more efficient in grocery stores than...
Read moreDeli counter staff is wonderful. I frequent Dave’s on Wilson Mills routinely and I may go to the deli counter twice a month. Today I witnessed the most wonderful encounter. A mom had her daughter in the cart but all of a sudden the child became upset and started crying profusely. One of the staff appeared to be making a sandwich tray with slider buns; when she saw the child could not be calmed down she asked her do you want a sandwich? She nodded yes, she then got her attention she gave suggestions to the child as to the type of meat and cheese she may want by asking if she wanted turkey or ham and asking if she wanted yellow or white cheese. What that showed me she was in tune with the child when she named the color rather than saying American cheese. She went back to her station put a slice of meat and cheese on the bread and put it on the deli paper and handed it the to child and all was good. The mother was very appreciative and needless to say the child never cried from the first contact after the clerk offered her a sandwich. Everyone that was being waited on was thrilled at the customer service this clerk provided and how well she handled it. I didn’t see her name but I truly feel Dave’s should recognize the excellent service this staff is providing their customers because it makes you want to come back. Thank you to the clerk that made me and my husband’s day along with several other customers who witnessed...
