Modern 804 — Local services in Richmond

Stumbled upon Modern 804 right as they opened and ended up being their first official customer! Since then Ive grown to become friends with Melissa, the owner, and all the ladies that come together to make this store as great as it is!

Amazing selection of well curated collectibles, decor, and furniture from all time periods. You will definitely find something you didnt know you needed in here

Their Mid Century Modern items are unparalleled and if they don’t have it, O have no doubt that if you need something found, Melissa could do it

Even if you dont spend, doing a lap around the gallery/store is a fun way to spend 30 minutes Next door to many great restaurants and bars, you dont have much reason to leave that shopping center lol

You know how some vintage and antique stores are - it's too much to take in and it feels like the walls are closing in on you. Modern 804 is not that store - it's clean and curated and it feels like a fun place to hang out and mingle. This is one of my fave vintage shops in Richmond. The vendors are thoughtful and intentional with how they source items and merch the store. The cool vibe and amazing furniture, decor, and accessories are reasonably priced and great people work there. Put this place on your list...

An interesting spot that may yet take hold...think furnishings from the Post-WII era, 1950's to mid 60's. some tasteful, some of value, some borderline...for the creative person on a budget this might juz be it...look carefully.... there's some interesting pieces here....
