If you are looking for decent sofas or chairs at reasonable prices both the outlet and the gallery in old Richmond are worth a stop. The gallery is steeped in history and there are tons of historical local artifacts throughout the building. The staff is very pleasant. The outlet though not gourgeous, houses a heap of furniture as well nestled on Sim Hodgin Parkway, the people are exceeding nice there as well. For the old timers, you may know it as the old Auction House. We went to countless furniture stores to find what we were looking for and came away with a three piece set for less than what we would have paid for one couch elsewhere. These are not Flexsteel pieces, they are Ashley, but thats what we wanted. Hi end furniture and our dogs dont go together. We wanted something affordable yet sturdy that we werent going to be upset if they got a scratch or fur on them. Thats exactly what we got and we couldnt be more pleased. Ok experience. Had to wait 4 weeks for delivery and also had to call the store myself to check on delivery. Nobody called to tell me that my order would not be delivered in time and that it would take another 2 weeks before it would ship. Then I was told that they had what I had ordered on the showroom floor (the exact same pieces I had picked out the day I was told I would have to order them) that I could have delivered a few days later. Not entirely pleased with the lack of communication without having to initiate it myself nor the 4 week wait for something I could have had...

We ordered our couch and love seat in November of 2019. After months of calling our sales person, them delivering the wrong furniture on 2 different occassions, we finally picked up our completed order in the last part of June 2020. With all the issues we had with trying to get the right furniture, our sales person Greg promised us a floor lamp to go with the furniture. This was conveniently forgotten about.
