We recently celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at Sunshine Play Cafe, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Having visited several times before, we already knew it was a great space—but hosting our first big party there truly exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we booked, everything was seamless. Sarah, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, answering all my questions with care and clarity. On the day of the party, Jay and Grace—who were working the event—were absolute stars. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, they were ready at the door to help unload and immediately jumped into setup mode. They instinctively knew what to do with everything I brought, which made things so easy and stress-free.

During the party, they were attentive and professional—welcoming guests, keeping the food trays full, and making sure cupcakes were passed out smoothly. Their energy and thoughtfulness made the whole event feel effortless. And cleanup? A piece of cake (pun fully intended).

My two year old has been here three times so far since it opened, and she absolutely loves it. She never wants to leave when it’s time to go. It’s a great place to play while it’s cold, and it will be once it’s warm also because an outdoor area is coming during the summer. Once the full launch is completed in March, it’s going to be $12 for all day play, with various monthly and yearly membership options also depending on the number of kids. This place was thought out very well. There are resources for nursing mothers, a safe area just for littles that are too small for all of the big stuff, and a huge area that is great for kids in the toddler and pre school age groups. There are tons of slides, a play kitchen, a play grocery store, a play tool area, a balance beam, crazy coupes, a dress up area, and so much more. My favorite place to take my toddler! I am a stay at home mom and could not survive some days without having SPC as an easy “get out of the house” activity. My toddler has been going since he was able to walk and I now bring him and my newborn weekly. What makes it so special to me is the staff. I time my visits to revolve around Jay. She is the kindest, most helpful person I’ve ever interacted with. My first time taking both my kids out in public i decided to come here and Jay’s help that day made me drive home in tears thankful for her. She saw me trying to help my toddler while also caring for a newborn and stepped in and helped me without me having to even ask. She carried my toddler outside with me to help get them both in their car seats. She truly is the reason I have my membership because she is such a joy to be around and makes my day every time I see her.
