Venture X Richmond — Local services in Richmond

UPDATE 11/7: I'm no longer a customer. While the onsite staff are awesome, the new ownership has really tanked the place after putting in some money. No more fun events or opportunities to socialize. If you're looking for a clean office space and that's all you care about, then this is the post. If you want something more out of a coworking space, I'd look elsewhere. ...... I work for a company based out of Chicago and tried this whole work-from-home thing. Unfortunately, I started to go crazy due to lack of human interaction, forgetting to shower and brush my teeth most days. Enter a multi-week co-working space search in the Greater Richmond area.

After looking at all available options like Novel, Regus, etc, Venture X stood out as the sure winner. Amazing staff, great prices, awesome services and events. Not to mention the location is a phenomenal one - in Scott's Addtion, tucked away from Broad but walkable to everything. VentureX has been a welcome reprieve from a previously isolated situation. I'm excited to stay here for the long haul (as long as the Recluse Roasting Project coffee sticks around, of course).

UPDATE: They got rid of Recluse but still support local roasters so...

I have been a tenant at Venture X for almost 2 years and have nothing but the best things to say about everyone who works there. The facility is always extremely clean, and management is very personable and accommodating. However, the thing I care the most for at Venture X, is how they go out of their way to treat me as a person rather than just a source of revenue. I think this was best demonstrated at the beginning of the pandemic when times were tough for everyone and Venture X was willing to work with me as my business recovered. If you are looking for flexible workspace, I cannot recommend...

As someone who has worked (and sometimes struggled working) from a small home office through a lot of the Covid-19 Pandemic, finding a new workspace to go to whenever I want has been an absolute blessing. The unlimited free coffee is a huge perk and so is being surrounded by super nice and helpful people, whether they work for Venture X or rent an office here! Plugging into a quiet spot here has always been easy, and coming here Monday through Friday definitely serves the productivity I need to get through my workday without pulling...
