I've been shopping at Stater Brothers here in Ridgecrest now for over three years. I was told when I first came here " If you see something you like on the shelves buy all of it because you may never see it again." I thought that was a joke but I was so wrong. My Husband and son are both diabetic. At first it was Nestlé's sugar free chocolate coffeemate. They carried it for several months then stopped. I know it sold well because I bought all I could get everytime it came in. They tell me they can't carry it anymore. I order it from Amazon now. They had Sugar free Anglefood cake in the bakery for two seasons.( no more.) They sometimes carried 3 different kinds of Sugarfree cookies in the bakery now they've added a bunch of cookies with sugar to that table and have only 2 packages of sugarfree there now. (They're the same two that's been there for over a month.) They say they have a cold case of sugar free deserts. There's not one sugar free desert in it. The Baking goods isle has one brand of sugar free brownie mix. That's it! In the whole Isle! Last month to my surprise there was a Sugar free Betty Crocker Chocolate Cake mix. No one remembers having it and there's none now. The young man that stocks those shelves thought Gluten free was the same as sugar free. Evidently a lot of people that work there are under the same impression. Just so you Know other grocery stores, in Nevada at least, have whole sections in many departments of sugar free foods. Their are a lot of Diabetics in this area and the sad thing is the workers in your store are suggesting to your customers that some foods that are full of sugar are not. I see a law suit in the making. It's My Husbands Birthday today , unless there's something at Albertsons, no birthday...

South East Asian Produce: They have a section of S.E. Asian produce that consistently carries lemongrass, Hẹ (allium tuberosum), Bok Choy, Baby Bok Choy, Bầu (calabash), Mướp đắng (bitter melon) and more.
Meat Counter: The Meat Cutters are very pleasant and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need ideas or if you'd like them to cut your meat in a particular way. They've always seemed happy to be there and glad to be helpful.
Fried Chicken Deli Counter: I prefer the fried chicken from their Deli Counter over all the other places in town because the batter is actually intact and they do a better job at ensuring the product is fresh in the case. If you want even fresher, just call 20 minutes ahead and ask them to drop a fresh 8/12/16 piece in the fryer for you to pick up. There's no charge and they're...
Read moreI came in the store today and asked to have some shrimp. I asked if it was possible if they can remove the shell for me. Now as a customer the best thing I would love to here is yes we can. The employee came and told me we could do it but weight it before removing the shell because it is company policy. Now if that was not told to me, I would never inquire about showing me the policy. The employee brought the manager and this is the reason I am writing this review. He was rude and kept trying to tell me how they always done business. I told him to show me the policy and told me he could not provide that information but will leave a note with the store manager to find it and kept walking away. He basically was rude and not manager material. His name was Doug and said he has been working here for over 20 years but can’t find a simple policy for me. Go to Albertson for better...
