So the museum used to be located on base, but now it is located in the city of Ridgecrest next to the public library. The museum is very small. $5 seems a bit pricy for such a small exhibit. The gift shop and employee offices are actually larger than the museum itself. BUT, they are working on expanding the museum and creating a hanger which will house there many more items that are currently not on display. We were provided a tour and it was very informative. This is not a museum, there are no artifacts, this is just a small building with a lot of 21" monitors on the wall where you can watch films. Whoaaaa!

When we walked in a staff member ran around from behind the register to aggressively tell us we had to sign in and that it was going to cost $5 each to walk into a space about the size of an average living room and look at the few exhibits they have.
