i had such a great experience bringing in my kitty baby newk to get neutered. as a first-time pet parent, i worry about every little thing, but the entire team went out of their way to make me feel at ease—from the first phone call to the moment i picked him up. they were so kind, informative, and truly patient with all my questions, no matter how small. their pricing was completely transparent, and while it’s on the higher side, the level of care and peace of mind they gave me made it more than worth it.
newk is now two days into recovery and honestly, he’s doing better than i ever expected. he’s eating normally, using the litter box, moving around comfortably, and not even paying attention to his incision site. no stitches, no swelling, no signs of irritation—just a tiny spot that you wouldn’t even notice unless you were really looking. i’ve been keeping a close eye on him and everything looks perfect.
i can’t say enough good things about this place. they treated newk like he was one of their own, and that kind of care is hard to find. if you’re looking for somewhere that truly prioritizes your pet’s comfort and wellbeing, this team is absolutely the right choice. i one hundred percent recommend them...
Read moreThe silver lining of our wonderful, gentle Aussie being attacked by a loose dog was discovering this amazing vet. (Our former vet never followed up on the pictures they requested of her fairly deep wounds.) In desperation as hours went by, I called Ridgetowne, and Dr. Lloyd was able to see her almost immediately to give her an exam, clean the wounds and suture her up. Everyone I met—Meredith, Amber, Dr. Lloyd—was incredibly kind, organized and communicative, all of which (I’ve learned!) make a world of difference in an emergency. They were beyond fabulous in every way, from the spotlessly clean clinic to the follow-up phone calls and, of course, our girl feeling a million times better. She’s happily chewing on a bone as I write this only a day later. She was terrified and in too much pain to walk or lie down only yesterday.
If you are searching for a vet who focuses on what matters, who cares and knows his stuff, and who takes the time to explain, listen and, crucially, look at your pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lloyd and Ridgetowne...
Read moreVery professional group of people. Never seem to be understaffed which is a difficulty at many veterinary offices. They are not inexpensive but they are good at what they do, and of course it helps to have two veterinarians there. Also unlike a lot of vets they love cats as well and they know how to handle them. You cannot go wrong going here. They did a great job of boarding my 15-year-old puppy dog who just passed away and they took good care of him and diagnosed his congestive heart failure. My kitty cat Lucky who everyone knows does not mind going there and he's never been anywhere. The only changes they need to make is they need to have the staff convey what large charges are going to be like an interior scan or a drip or something because you have no idea what your bills going to be. I'm from a dog family and my mother was a dog breeder so I'm very familiar with veterinary medicine so if they would Rectify this they would be perfect. As far as being inexpensive, you get...
