I had a terrible experience at Ridgeland Coffee Co. today. Visiting from Florida, I was excited to try this place because of all the glowing 5-star reviews—but I was extremely disappointed. I ordered two almond milk lattes with honey from the drive-through, and what I received had zero espresso taste and tasted like overly sweet cow’s milk. I immediately tasted the drink before driving off and asked the barista to confirm if it was made with almond milk. She assured me it was. However, when I brought the drinks home, my husband immediately identified that it was cow’s milk—without me saying a word. This is completely unacceptable, especially for anyone with a milk allergy. To make matters worse, when I poured out the drinks, there were brown crumbs at the bottom of the cups, which appeared to be coffee grounds or dirt. This should never happen in an espresso drink. This experience raises serious concerns about the integrity of this establishment. For a barista to lie about the ingredients is appalling and could have caused a serious health issue. I ended up dumping both drinks, wasting my money, and feeling completely let down. Ridgeland Coffee Co. needs to address these issues immediately to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. This was nowhere near the quality or service I expected based on their reviews. I will not...
Read moreEveryone there is great!! The ONLY place I get my cappuccino. Something though has created a problem. I've gotten coffee recently from 2 separate people. The older, super sweet black lady and the new guy. Everytime I get coffee from her, it's boiling hot. I usually get it before running errands. When I get home it's just right. Up to 2 hrs later. The coffee is always yummy but, this past Monday while getting out of my car, it fell over onto my inner left arm, left breast and inner arm. It hurt like.........crazy. thankfully my boyfriend pulled up and saw me ripping off the clothes. Inside, I had various ice packs for 5 hours. Shockingly, that stopped ghe burning progression. Hers are always extra hot but I just work around that. I think now I need to make sure it's not so hot. Today, thd new..my husband got me my cappuccino. This one was not only boiling hot as well but has zero flavor as if the coffee was forgotten. It's a bummer as theyre not cheap. This will in noway affect my 3 or 4 weekly coffees cause they are the best. If you could just talk with the new guy and what he's putting n for coffee that might be the only issue. And not over sream it. Same with the lady who makes a great coffee at 200°, lol. Feel free to text me if you want. Many...
Read moreI’m from out of town and although I enjoyed the coffee, I hated the experience. First time here and I was greeted with “did you honk your horn?” The young lady with light brown/blonde braids was rude and greeted me by telling me a brief story about me “honking my horn” at the customer in front of me. She then said she never heard me honk my horn herself but the lady in front me said I did..? So then why even ask?? I just wanted a coffee while washing my clothes up the street lol. This place is TINY so had I actually honked my horn she would have heard it. And if she actually had an ounce of professionalism she would’ve continued on with taking my order and treating me like a customer, but she just stared at me like she had a problem with this imaginary dilemma. She literally opened the window and ruined my morning with a made up story. You could’ve just taken my order, made my coffee and continued on with your day but you inserted yourself into a fictional scenario. I’ll...
