School Street Crossing — Local services in Ridgeland

I believe that this store is a true gem to the community and I drive pass Walmart all the time to go here. The store is always clean and the employees are always so polite, courteous, and professional. So why only 3 stars??? I was incredibly disappointed that MAC's (a store that always seemed to be about the community) chose to get rid of at least 3 checkout lanes... potentially eliminating 3 cashier's jobs to install SELF CHECKOUT! More and more stores seem to be following the principle of eliminating cashier's job's to install self checkout lanes so that we can come to the store, do our shopping, and then pay you (the store owner) to scan and bag our own groceries under the premise of speediness...

Kam Loon is the best Asain food around! They cook to order, so it's always fresh and delicious! A little bit pricey but totally worth it. They have decent portions of food packed in the containers. Wing Stop, Poppa Johns and Mac's all win win win. Mac's have pick five deals on the meats and a very helpful butcher who always cuts my orders perfect! I have my steaks cut a minimum of two inches so I can grill them slow. They hold a lot of smoke flavor that way and stay...

The School Street Crossing is a small shopping mall in Ridgeland, Mississippi. I shop at Mac's a small, convenient, plentiful grocery store. The people who work there are so friendly and want to serve you. They have a deli with good, southern meals daily (Monday through Saturday). They also have great deals weekly.
