I purchased a battery from Wireless Wizard on June 5, 2015 because my phone would not hold a charge with the current battery. After purchasing this battery, my phone would still would not hold a charge so I went back to the store to see if I could possibly get more assistance with my phone. Instead of receiving assistance, I was talked to like an idiot and like I did not have a single clue of how to operate this phone in which I have had for over a year. I was told my phone was old, not considering you have the exact same phone sitting in your display case for sale for $249 (guess it wasn't that old). The lady that assisted me offered me no resolution except to point out that if I use wi-fi constantly, always run the Bluetooth, and have my apps running in the background it will drain the battery. Had she bothered or taken the time to listen to my side, she would have known that these are things that I already knew and my job in which I spend 40 hours a week, I am not allowed to have my wi-fi on in the building, so I turn it off when I arrive in the parking lot. Had she taken the time to listen to me, she would have known that I kill all my apps as well as turn off the Bluetooth to try and save battery life and yet it still drains without me even touching the phone. So she passed me off to someone else who continued to point out other things that I was doing wrong, such as having a juice pack on my phone drains the battery. Had he taken the time to listen to me he would have known that I've had this juice pack for over a year on this phone and if it kills the battery, it took a little over a year for it to kill the original battery that came with the phone instead he went on to point out all the things in which I was doing wrong.
Instead of causing of scene and starting an argument, I left the store. I only paid $32 for the battery and I would have paid for a diagnostic to see if there was another problem with the phone. Instead I was told about things that I was doing wrong and that I needed to get a new charger (which I already have). So if keeping the $32 was going to make you feel whole, then by all means keep the money. But please know that my business will be taken elsewhere and how you run your business and treat your customers will be known to every person that I know including ones that I don't.
Just an FYI I was going to take my laptop to have them replace the drive but at this point, I would not take a single piece of any equipment that I own to this crappy place. The initial person who sold me the battery earned my business but the two people that I encountered on Friday, July 3, 2015 showed me that my business...

Read moreI was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received today. I have been a customer of Wireless Wizard in Ridgeland, MS, for 20 + years but will not return after today's encounter. On October 21, Wireless Wizard replaced a battery in my iphone. On Christmas Eve, my phone battery would no longer hold charge. I was out of town for the holidays and took my phone to another store on December 26, hoping they could fix my phone before I got on the interstate headed back to Jackson. The store tried to patch the phone to help me get back to Jackson but told me the phone had been incorrectly repaired with the battery replacement. The store recommended I take the phone back to Wireless Wizard since they had done the initial repair. This other business did not feel it was right to charge me to fix the phone; they felt the repairs should be covered by Wireless Wizard.
Wireless Wizard initially tried to charge me $80 to fix the phone. They finally agreed to either charge me $40 for the repair or offered to put the non-functioning battery back in my phone and me take my phone elsewhere for repairs. The store insisted that I had damaged the phone by dropping it and refused to take ownership for their mistake. I even called the repairman I had seen out of town to ensure I did not misunderstand the issue with my phone.
The fact that a business would let a long-term customer relationship end on such poor terms, implying the customer was lying and it was the customer's fault after loyal business for decades is astonishing. I felt very much taken advantage of and hope to warn other customers to seek other stores for their phone repairs. If I had had the time today, I would have had Wireless Wizard put the old battery back in my phone and I would have taken it...
