My son’s birthday party is tomorrow, and we’ve had something come up and will have to reschedule. As if it’s not already stressful enough trying to navigate a difficult situation and having to tell my 10 year old that we can’t have his party yet- I can’t even SPEAK to anyone at the Jackson, MS park. I have called no less than 20 times in the last 2 hours, most of the time speaking to someone in Texas at the headquarters. They always tell me there’s nothing they can do because it’s the day before the party, and transfer me right back to the Jackson park. Then i get a full voicemail box, so i can’t even leave a request for a callback. I was told by Kennedy at the Texas office (very sweet) that the only other thing I can do is DRIVE UP TO THE OFFICE. ?? So I have to drive 35 minutes there and 35 minutes back, simply because nobody at this place wants to answer a phone. What a joke. She also said she could send an email, but it could be up to 3 business days before I get a response and by then I would be counted as a no call/no show. Which I guess that will happen anyway, because I’m unable to get them on the phone to reschedule the party. I had such high hopes for this place, but it’s turning out to be just like every other business in Jackson MS, unfortunately. At least when they try to deem me a no call/no show, I can kindly ask them to refer to this review for proof that I was actually trying to get in touch with them. How is this okay??? I would NOT recommend doing your child’s birthday party here. Edited to add: I would suggest someone from the corporate office try to reach out to the Jackson, MS park so that you can see for yourself that these are not false claims. This has been a horrible experience.
I wanted to edit this review because I did end up driving to the facility, because it was the only way I could get anything done. And while I was genuinely stressed and annoyed at the whole situation, the girls that were working at the front desk handled my concerns professionally and efficiently. Apparently, they did not even have “the phone” at the facility, so they were not aware that I had been calling all afternoon. (I guess its a cell phone? Or maybe the calls are forwarded to someone’s cell phone? I’m not really sure what she meant.) But the phone wasn’t on the premises… it was with the manager, who was out of town. (Again, I was a little confused by this, but I could tell that the girls were simply doing what they’d been told to do). So I appreciate their patience with me, and wanted to thank them for doing the best they could do with the situation they were left in. However, I do still think there should be an easier way to get in touch with someone at the park. I added a star...
Read moreThe place itself is cool but they have no personnel to attend the attractions. We went on a Friday afternoon and the place wasn’t crowded at all and made the mistake of buying a “platinum” pass for my kids. The most expensive one so they could do all the extra activities. First of all, not all the attractions listed are actually available. There was no “wipeout” and there was no “leap of faith” and some of the other stuff we couldn’t find. We had to walk all around the place to find attendants to let them ride the extra activities so that was a big waste of time. When we requested to the rope course they told us the rope course wasn’t open, but that wasn’t disclosed when we bought the tickets. My kids wanted to do those specifically so that was a bummer.I talked to someone who told me they were speaking to the manager so he could come and set the kids up for the rope course. The “manager” was super rude and made us wait about an hour to come to the ropes area. After waiting for about an hour for someone to come, said manager came and just waited at the entrance of the attraction not even acknowledging us. I asked him if he was there for the ROPE COURSE and he said yes and he told the kids to stand by the measuring stick. He told my 8 year old child who clearly went over the 48 inch line he couldn’t ride because he was too short. His head went half an inch over the 48 inches required for it. I made him stand on another measuring chart and the same thing, still over the 48 inches clearly. He still said he was too short and told me he wasn’t gonna argue with me when I told him to see again that he was definitely over it. He then ignored me the rest of the time. Super rude!!!! He let my 10 year old in and when they got to the top he told him only the zip line was open. My son didn’t want to do that one because he was scared and he came down. So yeah, what a waste of our time. I specifically said the ropes course and even asked him when he was setting him up. Honestly we had a very bad experience and most of the personnel were rude or non existent. Don’t waste your money. Or just buy the least expensive ticket for your kids so you’re not disappointed. This place won’t last...

Awful experience — rude staff and no accountability
I visited Urban Air in Ridgeland with my kids for a birthday party, and it turned into a really upsetting experience. I paid cash to use the photo booth,as my daughter wanted to use photobooth with her friends, but it kept rebooting and never worked. I spent 15 minutes trying to see if it eventually works, then another 15 waiting for staff help — even though no one else was in line. She kept going inside party rooms to get someone to look at it.
A male staff member finally came and rudely told me to go get my kids and their friends for the photo, after removing the plug and turning it back on. But after 30 minutes of trying, the kids had already dispersed. When I asked him to first check if the booth was working, he blamed me for pressing a button and said, “It’s your mistake — no refunds, as the photos were blank.” When I calmly asked him to lower his voice, he shouted, “I’m not your husband to talk, tell me what I need to do” Completely unprofessional and aggressive, and he kept yelling at me in the same voice when others watched. I walked away .
When I asked other staff for his name, they claimed not to know who helped me, when there was only one male staff member she approached to help me earlier. Then after few minutes i noticed that the female staffer got the male staffer who yelled at me and started following me around the urban air and pointing me out, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.
I tried to gather my kids as fast as i could, and left the place. In the end, I got no refund, no photos (I didn’t even take the blank prints with me), and no help. We went there to make fun memories with our kids — instead I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I won’t...
