Worst Krispy Kreme franchise I have ever been to. Have tried several times, and service has been pretty much the same level of face-melting terrible every time. Like the time my wife and I tried the drive-through. We were politely asked to "Hold up!" when we tried to place an order, and managed to sit there long enough to find another local doughnut shop within driving distance, decide which doughnuts we wanted from them, argue over whether we wanted to get coffee from the doughnut shop or a local coffee shop, teach our 2-year-old a new song, then drive away to the other doughnut shop. Then, there was the night we decided we'd like a dozen of their latest variety, but didn't want to drive all the way there only for them to be out (this has happened before). When I called and asked if I could order ahead, I was sweetly encouraged to "Hold on!" while the associate sought wisdom on this matter from someone whom I can only assume was the janitor. The determination, you ask? "We can't do that, there's a line, and you hafta wait in it." Brilliant. I can't believe I didn't come up with that myself and save a few minutes of my life. (what follows is a description of a one time incident in a place that is generally wonderful. Please judge it accordingly.) Generally their customer service is also great too. Today I think they were overwhelmed by a sale they had going on the last couple days. They were out of a lot of selection. People that were there for a dozen plain glazed were told they were out and they would not have more for an hour or more. The lady they had on the register seemed very non chalant and angry as if tired or not wanting to be at work today. She also managed to mess up my order of only three donuts somehow giving me the wrong flavor selections when I turned to speak to a friend I happened to see. To add insult to injury I was the only person to order a latte in the building at the time and they gave me the wrong flavor in that also. Today just wasn't their day but I reiterate generally they are not nearly this bad and please patronize them despite this review. One bad day doesn't make a business not worth patronizing and I'm sure by the time you go they'll have their stuff...
Read moreIf I could give less of a review, DEFINITELY WOULD! The “MANAGER” is absolutely horrible and I have no idea how she got a job in customer service! I’ve never been talked to by another individual like the way I was spoken to by her! Being in customer service for over 15 years, I have never been spoken to by a customer like that and definitely not a manager of a place of business! Called and asked for managers name, proceeds to tell me which one, there are 6 of us here.. okay, there are 6 managers at 4:15 pm, maybe that is the issue then! Called me (the customer) back and leaves me a voicemail saying there are people who spend more money there daily than I was going to spend and proceeds to make threats through the phone. Again, I have never been treated this way by anyone but especially not by a “manager” of an establishment. Horrible experience!!!!!!!!!
