So I took my client out for lunch one afternoon and showing up a cook opened us the door real nice. The main guy on the front was super cool & he told us to take a seat any where & well my client is disabled, needing a wheelchair and they have the men's restroom marked for a ♿ but the door is small? How does someone with a wheelchair fit in? So he goes into the women's restroom because the door was wider, so he could fit into the restroom... The "waitress" just stared the whole time. Only comment made was "shouldn't he go into the men's?" Umm excuse me? Also with all this chaos of trying to help my client get into the restroom, it is PACKED with chairs, an extra table, ect. So of course i moved the table that was in his in way and here comes the waitress and moves it back..... Kidding me right? She watched all that go down why move it back. My client gets out the restroom and here we go again struggling to get him out. I explained to her that, this was the reason I moved the table OUT OF HIS WAY. Guess her response? Anyone? Ok it was "I moved it back cause I thought he could get out differently and it looked in the way"... Omg!! I'm trying to stay calm cause she seemed so senseless it was absurd. So here I am again trying to move the table again but she blocked her self in and made it difficult, after i got my client out she made a comment that may not have intended to be ABSURD once again but she goes and says "yea i used to push people on these things to i thought i knew what i was doing"...... Wow! So ignored that whole comment and we sit and order and the food was delicious no doubt. But the "waitress" definitely struggled. Not even so long into eating our meal, she comes and asks if we need anything. Being that we didn't my client and I both said no. Didn't see her up until my client asked for a box. Her reply again? "Well i already asked of you needed anything else". Seriously?? And my client responded with we didn't at the time, she has dirty dishes and sets them down and rudely tisses and says "I'm trying to do my job"............... Wow... Will not be back to dine in that's for sure! I was so hurt cause I've heard good thing's! But I rethought about it and ONLY heard great things...
Read moreIt's not bad. If you get the Diet marked items, then you get steamed vegetables and meat, and they are pretty good. The sweet and sour items are really nice, without the sauce. Some people like sugary things, so it's nice to have the sauce on the side. There's a lot of salt, so you have to watch the intake. I think it's good value for the money.
1.21.2018 The shrimp with garlic sauce has no garlic, and it looks like shrimp with black bean sauce. The vegetables and shrimp are good. However, I don't care for the thick dark sauce. The special combo platters are supposed to come with pork fried rice. The rice is undercooked and drowning in the dark sauce. I don't think there's any pork in it, and the rice is downright crunchy. Correction: There is pork in it. The pork consists of thin slices of pork loin with 5 spice or so seasoning giving it a red edge color cut into very tiny cubes. I thought it was going to consist of roast pork, but this is plain pork loin slices with some spice to give it the red color edge. The lemon chicken looked like just sweet and sour chicken, but the person eating it said that it was pretty good and tasted like lemon chicken.
2-9-2018 The call in order was wrong. I got shrimp chop suey instead of shrimp chow mein. The food isn't bad, but it's so bland, it makes hospital food for a hypertension patient look exciting. I don't think they used salt on anything. They were busy, and they didn't have any soy sauce packets. That would have really helped. The egg drop soup is also really bland. They must have been out of salt in the kitchen. Next time, I'm going to Panda Express. They have less of a selection, but I remember the food...
Read moreAfter ordering Szechuan Chicken several times and wondering why the chicken (supposedly sliced white breast meat) was so rubbery, I called them as asked if we could have this dish without breading on the chicken, or breast meat that doesn't have any skin on it. I was told that they only use white chicken breast meat - no skin and no breading on it, so I placed another order, thinking it was my imagination. The "meat' was just as rubbery as before, so I removed some "chicken" from my meal and rinsed the sauce off of several pieces, which revealed that the "chicken" wasn't really sliced chicken breast at all, but actually nothing but chicken SKIN, with a thin film of white meat on the underside of the skin on a couple pieces, but mostly just skin, curled and rubbery. We were grossed out! Not only is chicken skin not healthy to eat, using skin instead of real white breast meat is deceptive at best, and it is cheating. If such a practice isn't illegal, it should be, and the NM Department of Agriculture should fine these guys for such a scam. Don't eat this crap food. The Szechuan Beef is just as bad - lots of fat and gristle. Yuk! Very disappointed and will NOT ever eat...
