I’ve gone three times now and this most recent experience was very disappointing. I go with my 4 year old and my 7 month old ( I carry him in a carrier). We went with a friend and her two kids. My friend had to work and sat in the stools with her laptop but had her babysitter with the kids in the play room. Our two kids were playing on the wooden swing ladder and we noticed the workers staring at our kids as if they were doing something wrong. They were climbing on it ( which it’s made for). They then went to the rope climbing area by the rock wall. I was in the toddler area talking to my friend (20 feet away) and the babysitter was with the 1 year old near the trampoline. The manager came over and asked if the two kids climbing were ours. We said yes. She proceeded to tell us that they required parents to be on the floor with the kids. I said that was on the floor for mine and the babysitter was here for her two. She then said that they require parents to follow the kids around especially if they climb so they don’t fall. This really annoyed me. I totally get the reason of safety but we do sign a waiver. We know our kids and their abilities. I follow my daughter around but I’m not going to be two feet from her at all times. The manager then made a phone call and started talking about us. She was describing two kids ( mine and my friends) she then went to the back room to finish the call. I was very disappointed with this. I don’t feel like the kids were doing anything wrong. As parents, I don’t feel like we were letting them run around unsupervised. Again, we know our kids and their abilities. More than half the equipment there is for climbing. I don’t feel like I need to hovering my 4 year old while she climbs. Especially since I have my 7 month old on me. If my 4 year old falls then she falls. I’m not catching her with my baby in my arms. If this was my first time( which it was my friends) I would definitely not want to go back. It makes me sad because the 2 other times I went the owner was there and we had great experiences. I also just recommended this place in a mommy group and now I want to take back the...
Read moreVisited for the first time last week and did not have a great experience. The manager on site (6/28) was quite rude. It is $15 per kid for 2 hours. Even if they are babies or young toddlers. I came in with a 4 year old and 18 month old so it was $33 with tax. They have great equipment but unfortunately I felt like they didn’t want the kids to use it how it’s intended. They wanted parents to be right below their kids as they were climbing. If you have one kid that you’re following around I could see it maybe working, but if you have multiple kids and are trying out the facility, you’re going to be challenged in how you spend your time there and how you divide yourself with your kids. Also, I think in theory it could be great under better trained and friendlier staff. You can tell some of the staff is not used to being around kids. My friend assured me that is not usually like this but it left a bad impression on me. I will not be returning and definitely would not recommend.
At check in, they have a QR code and when you scan it, it takes you to the website but the site itself doesn’t have a form. So you have to stand there and give them your info for each child while the person puts it into their system. If you have toddlers, just keep in mind that you can’t do it...
