Brew Lab 101 Beer & Cider Co. — Restaurant in Rio Rancho

We went for a food truck pop up by Cousins Maine Lobster out of Lubbock, Texas. We were immediately greeted and helped by . Lexxi, Sam, Ahzeen and Christi were constantly on top of the busy bar, running around and checking on everyone. They were very nice and patient. They were knowledgeable about the beverages on tap and stopped recommending beers once they were told we do not drink beers due to a severe hops allergy. The venue was very clean and while we did not go out into the back “beer garden”, it looked very nice as well just peeking from the door. We love the “chemistry vibes” and the fact that the servers were not pushy or sale-sy. We did not feel rushed or poorly taken care of. In fact, as soon as our drinks were empty or running a hair low, someone came to see if they could get us something else and maybe 30 seconds later, another server came to check as well! Fantastic and friendly service! The cocktails are nice. I really loved the Lavender Dream and the Creamsicle. I would love to see lavender bitters or lavender vodka on the menu (the Lavender syrup is a bit too sweet for me but I know lavender is a very specific preference). The Oppenheimer’s Old Fashioned was delicious and we loved the nod to New Mexico’s history. After all…those that don’t know the history are doomed...

We love this place, but! After hearing that the servers were told they could not go to the bathroom or eat during their shift due to it being busy is absolutely unbelievable. We call this our home bar. We have been coming here for years and will continue because the staff are always amazing. But really? Treat your staff like that. Smh. I wish I knew who said it because I would love to talk to them face to face. Remember people talk and word gets out fast. Own your mistake. The servers busy their back here and for who. . Power trip leadership. Shame on you. You should be embarrassed.

Love this place. Looking for some good beer. Want a nice comfortable place to drink it. . Want to have an amazing date with that awesome person. . well, stop reading and come on in. this place is what you need. My wife and I found this place when we moved to Rio Rancho and I absolutely love it here. We Had one Mix up, turns out I was in the wrong, and the owner still made up for. . My mistake. I came in for a Sunday Funday. I knew BL always has great food trucks. The bar was busy early afternoon but, I helped right away at the bar. Staff and customers were friendly with a good ol' "home town" vibe. The staff were as welcoming to me as well as to what I assume to be "regulars ". My servers were Elizabeth and Jessie. Both, friendly and educated about their selection. It was such a good Sunday afternoon atmosphere. The beer selection was diverse and everything I had was delicious. Including - beer/cider cocktails (amazing). 9/10 I will select a place on the vibe and staff over the beer. Brew Lab definitely had both. They also have a variety of entertainment throughout the week , I am planning to check out and tell my friends about. This unsuspecting "hole in the wall" is 11/10 can't wait to bring friends and become a part of the...
