I initially loved living here when I moved here in September 2018 but my neighbors upstairs have made my stay here a living hell!! I have called to the leasing office and complained to them several times and all they do is send letters to the upstairs neighbors (which they ignore), send out the courtesy officers but nothing else is ever done. The neighbors have a toddler that stomps all through the apartment all day and apparently all night because I have jumped up out of my sleep on several occasions around 2-3 am because their child is stomping around the apartment. They do not discipline their child at all or take into consideration they have people that live below them. Their laundry has fallen onto my deck several times to the point where I don't even give it to them anymore.
I have called the police three times on them and the 1st time they wouldn't even come to the door for the police. The second time, the lady lied to the police and said she and her family are quiet during certain times of the day and the third time I don't know what happened because I never received an update from the police. It clearly states in the lease in paragraph 20 that excessive noise and unruly behavior is a violation of the lease plus Clayton Co has a noise ordinance after 10 pm but do the police or the leasing office acknowledge or do anything about it? No. These neighbors have violated the lease several times over and they are still here. I have already notified the leasing office that I will not be renewing my lease in September 2020 if they cannot move me to another unit and when I renewed my lease back in September 2019, they went up on my rent from $975 to $1064 and not once did they try to compensate and give me a discount for the inconvenience and the noise I have to endure day in and day out and now that I work from home due to this COVID-19 situation, I have to hear the stomping and carrying on upstairs all day long. I have developed anxiety since I moved over here and I have had three anxiety attacks within the last month due...
Read moreThe pros about this apartment complex is that the price is reasonable and the apartments are decent size but it’s not worth your health.During the whole lease we had a bad mold and mildew problem and wasn’t able to use our closets had no choice but to live out of totes which was very annoying. The mold and mildew had gotten on most of our belongings. Mostly shoes and clothes also caused my kids to have bad reactions. It didn’t matter how many times I cleaned the apartment with Clorox or mildew killer, the mold and mildew always came back and it had spread from the master bedroom all the way through the kids bedroom. Every room had it no matter where you go. it was worst in ALL the closets. since we had moved my kids has not woken up with a reaction since. So I know it wasn’t my imagination but overall the apt complex for a couple of months gave us like $100 off but we just wanted the problem to be fixed so we can use our closets but I assumed since the real problem would be more expensive they just gave up on trying to fix the problem. I wouldn’t recommend moving there only because of the mold and mildew but if you can overlook that the price was very reasonable and the...
