Took a Covid-19 test here on 08/06/20 at Riverside Urgent Care. As of today, 08/15/20 no results have been provided to me by Riverside Urgent Care.
Yesterday I was losing my patience, so I called another medical facility to make an appointment for another Covid-19 test. I was given an appointment for 9am that same day. At 10:15pm that same day I was sent an email from this second medical center that my test result came back negative for Covid-19.
In my opinion if you are worried that you may have been infected with Covid-19 and you want to discover the results of the Covid-19 test do not bother coming to Riverside Urgent Care. *
EDITED ON 08/24/2020 1:45pm: As of date/time shown above I still have not been contacted by Riverside Urgent Care regarding my test results. So much for URGENT Care. I really do not feel they have the urgency on this matter. LOL *
EDITED ON 09/25/2020 It has now been 50 days since taking the COVID test at Riverside Urgent Care and still have not received any results from their office. I have now also contacted my medical insurance company to let them know so they can also pursue this matter if they like...since they paid for this test at Riverside Urgent Care. On Monday I will also be filing a complaint with Department of Managed Health Care.
EDITED ON 11/08/2020 It has now been more than three months now since I took the COVID-19 test and I have not received the results or heard anything from Riverside Urgent Care regarding this matter. I was informed by my insurance company that they were PAID for this COVID-19 test.
EDITED ON 01/17/2021 It has now been 164 days (almost 5.5 months) since I got my Covid-19 test here at Riverside Urgent Care. Still no respond from this so-called URGENT care medical center. I think itās safe to say they have taken the money from my medical insurance for the Covid-19 testing and they have no plans on furnishing the results. Be careful with this business, they have a tendency of taking your money and not furnacing services as in my case with dealing this business.
From reading the other reviews on this business on Google other clients arenāt too happy with them either.
In conclusion Riverside Urgent Care was paid by my insurance company on my behalf for a COVID-19 test and it has now been almost 5.5 months no one at Riverside Urgent Care has contacted me to provide the results or anything else for that matter.
As I lay here crying at 1 am because now the pain has been made unbearable because this nurses mistake I will update this review below.
Iāve faithfully used this urgent care for a while because I find them to be efficient and effective. I did have a visit today and while possibly helpful the nurse ended up poking my eardrum and caused it to hurt and bleed more than it did initially while she was flushing it out. Honestly it felt better when she first started and then went down hill. She was doing well at first then said āIām going to pull your earlobe down to get in there betterā and then immediately hit my eardrum. She said it wasnāt bleeding but it hurt so much I knew it was. I put the napkin that she gave me on my ear and yes, fresh blood. Very unfortunate but I certainly donāt believe it was intentional so not much to do. She apologized and I canāt make her undo the poke. The doctor then had them come give me a shot of medication but I believe it may have been best to give me something my for the pain that I can at least take for a week. Now Iām coming out of pocket due to the staff. Just seems that sometimes the bedside manner is lacking and the PA has become desensitized. Never rude but a little arrogant. I work in law so nothing I would write a bad review about.
It just sucks when they cause more harm than you initially had and donāt give a decent solution. Swollen glands but no look into infection. Pain around the ear but no look into that either. But certainly left with a fresh puncture. Just looked at the paperwork provided and they did not list the puncture- just the impacted wax I came with. I think itās time I find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't recommend this place. I took my 3 year old and 1 year old to get seen for high fevers. The lady in the very front was extremely rude to us. My husband ran out of work to meet me at this urgent care since I was comino from my house with my two sick toddlers. When I got there, we had already submitted all paperwork and checked in online. He stepped outside to help me get the kids out of the car and carry them inside. When we went inside, the lady started screaming at us and humiliating us in front of a room full of sick patients. Most of them children. She was angry because he stepped out of the room without letting her know that he was going out to the car to help me bring the kids in. Mind you she had called me 30 seconds before to tell me the same thing. I did not say anything back because there was a lot of children in the room, including mine. But she was obnoxious, disrespectful and rude. I get if we have to notify the front about stepping outside, but screaming angry at parents desperately needing help for their sick children with 104.5 fevers deserves to get fired. Uncaring staff should not be allowed to work in hospital settings. If you hate your job, then quit. Don't work front desk where you have witwork with SIXK patients. Then I called the next day because my children had blisters from the fever and they answered in the same rude manner. I am assuming it was the same person. Plus, my children weren't helped at all the day prior. Save yourself the time. Go somewhere where patients are helped and looked...
