The Pizza Place..... — Restaurant in Riverside

I tried placing an order for pizza 5/13 at 8:26pm. The guy I was talking to asked for my phone number I gave it to him I am visiting from Colorado. He went on to say if I knew the name of the place I was ordering from I answered yes. He continued to say that I would need to pay with a card over the phone. I said yes. He hung up, I called again He then asked again to tell him where im calling and then said people call and dont pick up their pizza. I needed to tell him my zip code here in Riverside, CA. I AM TRYING TO ORDER TAKE OUT. WHY ARE ALL THESE QUESTIONS COMING UP? I used maps to find a pizza place near me. They are 7 minutes away. I asked the guy why this process sounds complicated. He said he is not going to serve me and I should find another place to eat and hung up on me. WOW!!! What an unfortunate experience. I used to love this place and go here all the time but that was almost 6 years ago. I went here last week and unfortunately I don't think this place fully survived covid. They had to shrink their building footprints and they got rid of all the classic pizza place stuff that made it so charming to go to. It took out all the arcade games and all the extra space that they had towards the South wall. they took out that soda fountain and didn't even have water available unless you bought a bottle. I was under the impression that if you had a dine in restaurant and you ordered food they had to offer you complimentary water which last time I checked was state law. I used to always love getting the Stromboli here but that too seems to not be as good as it used to be. I still enjoyed it but it left me wanting the old way . The sauce kind of reminded me of spaghettiOs lol. I'll probably still come back here someday. I hope it'll go back to...

The pizza USED to be pretty good for the price. BUT... and here's a BIG BUT... I cannot lie, most everything else is sub par. I ordered fettuccine alfredo and received spaghetti alfredo. When I asked the owner he says hey that's what we got we don't have fettuccine. The sauce was reheated and separated when we got the order! Not even when we got home, I'm talking right at the register when i looked in the bag to see the spaghetti in white sauce.... Another night i ordered a antipasto salad, it came missing mushrooms AND olives. I called and they said yeah we ain't got that neither...And the last pizza I ordered had a different crust than normal. And different in a bad way. I can't go here anymore. Price is good, but the food quality and terrible management do not make up for it. The cashier and the girl answering the phone were very pleasant though....
