JUJUBAR — Restaurant in Riverside

This is my favorite super food and fresh juice place to come to.

Why?

Because they are the closest to me that use a mixture of fresh fruit for their base on their acai bowls. Other places use frozen flavored servings for their base. I prefer the fresh fruit being blended alongside the acai. It's more natural, and better tasting.

Their bowls are a good portion size for the money you pay. It fills me up just fine. But if you want to be filled even more, add a juice, or even a smoothie! Their juices are great too, fresh, cold, sweet, sour, all depending on which one you get, but they are pretty good. I've tasted many, but I've narrowed it down to 1 juice, and 1 bowl. For the juice, I enjoy the Red Goddess. For the bowl, I enjoy the Amazon Bowl. They have plenty of add-ons and other goodies at the counter you can purchase as well.

The place is generally clean, but because it's really busy, it can appear to be messy at times when the chairs are left untucked at the tables, etc.

The staff is usually tired, seems they are understaffed or over worked, not sure but to me they always seem tired...or not enthusiastic like I've experienced other staff at other places.

It is really loud in here, the music, the people chatting, the blenders and juicers going off in the background, everything combined makes this place really loud. But what can you expect from all the equipment that is necessary to create such delicious and yummy treats!

They are quite busy most of the time, and there are wait times to take your order, and of course wait times for receiving your order. But it's not that bad...just be aware in case you are expecting fast service, or if you are in a hurry to be somewhere.

All in all, even though it has some things I may not like, I'm being a perfectionist, and this place is truly a great place. It is exactly why I keep coming back, and it is in fact my favorite. But I am also honest about my reviews.

They do have punch cards, and they add up if you become a regular.

Odd looking storefront. It looks like it's closed. The inside at first looks like an older bank with an overdose of tacky copy paper signs. There are big partition as if they are trying to hide their prep area(think transparicy baby). The seating area is underwhelming and basic. The kitchen looked pretty clean and busy. The service was excellent! They have a system that surprisingly works to expedite drinks. The person who takes your order makes your drink. I've owned 2 coffee shops and never would have had 4 or 5 people on the floor taking orders AND preparing drinks. But somehow, they do an excellent job doing so. The employees were cheerful and eager to prepare your order. They are the success of this bussiness(it definitely was NOT the obviance). The drinks were adequate to good, Their menu was big and somewhat cluttered, though it is designed to be easy to understand. Juyular is a good place to stop for juice to-go. Don't take a date there as its environment is aesthetically bland and cold. My advice to the owner.... You have a great crew, why not match that with a more professional store design. 12-15-22 6pm. OH- MY- GOODNESS!!!!!!😭 IT'S SOOO GOOOOOD!!! THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I CAME HERE AND I'VE NEEVER HEARD OF THIS PLACE B4! I'M SOOO GLAD I DID NOW AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO ORDER LOL SO I SAID I'LL TRY THE CLASSIC SMOOTHIE DRAGONFLY. LET ME TELL YOU, I HAD A DESSERT PARTY IN MY MOUTH! LIKE WHAAAT!!!! I FELT LIKE A LITTLE KID. THIS IS REALLY GOOD! I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE NASTEEE BCUZ OF "green tea in it" UH- WRONG! NOPE IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS OR SHOULD I SAY DILICIOSO LOL.
