Blue Ridge Indie Market — Local services in Roanoke

This place is a funky, quirky, and cool creative space for artists and makers in the valley. The staff are welcoming and passionate about the space they've curated as well as creating a positive impact on the community. There's a little bit of everything for sale, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering almost all items made by local artists. If you come on a Tuesday, you can do a walk-in visit to the "Cat Café" where several cats from Angels of Assisi reside until someone comes to adopt them! It's a lovely way to get to hang out with the animals in a more "natural" environment, rather than a cat just hanging out in a crate. I'll certainly be back to find more crafty art to hang...

Seems like it might be a cool place, but I can't say for sure. It seems as though they have a shop cat inside, so my dog and I were turned around at the door. They were nice about it, though.
