I recently attended the opening of Donna Coopers exhibit. The space is a bit small, but large enough to accommodate quite a few pieces, which were displayed to their best advantage. The gallery owner Ed Hettig was very helpful with my purchasing several pieces from the show I moved from the DC area several years ago to a much more rural setting. As an art admirer, this is a must on my list of First Friday galleries to visit. The displays are always intriguing and more cutting edge than most, even than the taubman. As an artist however, my advice to anyone is, if you are considering having a show here, do the work, then keep trying. It will happen...
