We thought the atmosphere was just right for a good neighborhood bar. Friendly staff. The food came out and was subpar, but we enjoyed it since that's what we were expecting. But then, the check came. They charge OVER $8 for a New Belgium Draft and $7 for a Get Bent IPA, which is $5 at most other Roanoke watering holes. They were poured without precision, yielding a 10-12 ounce draft with a massive head of foam. How they get away with these prices is beyond me. Started the evening thinking this would be a fun place, apparently not. We ordered 2 very high priced domestic drafts (more than craft anywhere else) and were never even offered menus. I love this place! I love the bartenders and their fun demeanor even on busy nights. The food is always tasty and fresh, a great mix of perfect deli and bar food just like you want on a night out!
