Food Giant — Local services in Roanoke

Horrible. I am a customer who called to ask a question and when I called I was asked “what do you want?” Um excuse me I’m calling to ask a question and that’s how you respond to me? I asked to speak with the manager and to my surprise he ask why I wanted to know his name, who was I, I didn’t need to know the managers name and again.....what do you want??? Since when is a manager supposed to refuse to give information especially if he was as rude and unprofessional as him?? Im sure or at least I hope Giant food store wouldn’t accept their customers being spoke to in this manner especially From a manager!! Eventually he said his name was Moore Or it sounded like that anyway but I think he was lieing after he gave me the name he then hung up on me because he knew he was in the wrong. Whether that’s his name or not whoever the manager was on today 3/17/19 at 1pm was, if that was even the manager, very unprofessional on the phone and shouldn’t be answering the phone. I am traveling through and dont even shop there so I can imagine how professional he is all the time. I don’t know how anyone shops there-they need to find someone better qualified to...

Gah. I love this place. I worried about moving to NW, especially because my neighborhood is considered a food desert. But Food Giant has everything you'll need.

Sometimes the prices are more expensive, but I'm willing to shell a little in order to make a five minute trip, compared to at least 45 minutes to leave and get back from a shopping trip to the nearest...
