Returned desperate. Not many NAIL options near the military joint base. To any transplants searching, keep looking! Wish I'd seen the business reply before returning, I would've reached out in hopes of a better experience. I was looking forward to ordering something this 2nd go round, utilizing more services in what looks like a well thought out space. Just not a space I was welcomed in. Walked in made the first right like a still newbie, which is the cafĆØ. Young guy immediately looked down like "please don't talk to me, people make this mistake all the time, I'm not the front desk, so don't expect me to speak...I'm on my phone". Front desk saw that as I backed away from cafĆØ child, still no one spoke, so I stood still and moved forward as if in a line. Then a man stepped forward from behind the actual front desk full of staff to ask if he can help me. Provided my appointment details and I got the head nod to sit. Almost looked at some merchandise, however saw the stares, so I just sat down and stayed still. I remembered my first time here so I wasn't shocked, so this time I was just sad for the chill relaxed Saturday I had dreamed of having at the nail salon. 10 minutes in I knew I shouldn't have come back. Any place that doesn't bother to learn your name while taking your money doesn't deserve your money. Quote, "when I call you by not your name you know I'm talking to you", end quote. š. No ma'am! The disrespect is real here; just in case you're a first timer, and/or you look different from the regulars! You will be stared at. You will have to speak first as not many will approach you when you walk in. I had to learn about their other services thru reading and looking around. Nothing I typed in their online appointment system was communicated on. So my first 20 minutes with my nail tech, after being renamed and not wanting to make a scene, included more back and forth in utter confusion. I never know why businesses pick software that isn't helpful to the employee nor the customer. I won't be back. Glad to have my nails done, but not willing to sacrifice my self comfort nor self respect to return. Luz my name is not Sylvia, no matter how many times you yell Sylvia toward me I will not respond. Guess why? I took the time to make a business account. Never any problems reading my name before. Rudeness is never funny, no matter how many people you get to join in your laughter. Did I not tip you well for your work? Did I not pay for my services like everyone else? Was I not thankful? Is this business only for certain women? Was there a dress code I didn't fit that would've gotten me better treatment? Sometimes I wonder. The business from the outside is lovely, seems thoughtful. I wouldn't know, as it was made clear it's not for me to enjoy. From the coldness, I no longer have an interest in the rest of the business. I have no ill will, and hope they continue to grow and succeed. Best advice I've heard from other New Jersey women who's nails I've complimented is to go on IG for services. I'm grown/old š so that likely won't happen. Don't bother with the nail salons in middle N.J., that I can attest to. I don't get designs. Just regular shape and polish. Ordering polish online and going old school. Dignity is worth more than being someplace you're not wanted.
My first time. Got my nails done by Luz. She was great.
In under a week 2 nails chipped and 2 broke completely. Huge disappointment, as these are the reasons I got a gel manicure so that wouldn't happen so fast, if at all. I called the salon and they were gonna get me back in to fix it, however I realized they're just gonna use the same products anyway. The atmosphere was great, and Luz is lovely, however I'm moving on. Found out later gel was used not regular polish as...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI lost about 3/4 of my hair after contracting Covid, I was devastated. My best friend is getting married, Im in the wedding, and I just really wanted to have hair again for my own confidence. I did some research on extensions and called the salon for an appointment to find out what my options were⦠Iām the kind of girl who never spent more than $30 on a haircut at my local barbers since I was a kid⦠needless to say I didnāt really go into this with much knowledge or confidence. They set me up with Marissa, who turned out to be the sweetest human being ever!
On top of being a stylist and hair piece stylist, she also happens to be a hair loss specialist!! Look, I honestly cannot recommend her enough! I thought I had an idea of what I wanted and marissa steered me in a completely different, better and healthier direction of extension choice!!! She really had MY best interest at heart and didnāt just try to sell me something that would break the bank and damage my hair further. She fully examined my hair and head, listened to my concerns and took the time to answer so many of my questions! (And I had a lot). Marissa made me feel heard and seemed to have a genuine interest in making my experience and confidence the best it could be, and frankly that can be hard to find in a person. She color matched my hair to perfection, which was also something I was concerned about because Iāve never dyed or highlighted my hair before! We got a halo piece for my hair and when it arrived Marissa also took the time to make sure that I could put it in myself and didnāt end our appointment until I was confident in my ability to do it myself at home.
The extensions look EXACTLY how my hair looked pre-loss. I couldnāt believe it!
I couldnāt be any more grateful or happy with my experience here, and Iāll definitely...
