Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania — Local services in Robinson Township

First of all I want to say that this is a great store. The toy section and it's organization leaves a little to be desired, but overall you can find some great stuff here. The reason I give this place 3 stars is because check out is almost always a hassle, especially on the weekends. There's a beautifully sweet woman who works the check out who is EXTREMELY slow. Normally I don't mind, but the line is consistently long and barely moves. Today was probably the worst I've seen it. The line was easily 10 people deep and they refused to open another register. Several of us were asking for them to open another line to which the response was "I'm helping her bag". This is not the issue. The issue is the speed the poor woman rings. Please look into this issue! You don't want to deter business for such an amazing cause because of the hassle of checking out. I used to love this place but over the years my experiences have gone down hill. The prices climb, the staff is rude, and the guys working the donation area are straight up lazy. They told myself and another donator that our items were not good enough and that they did not take dressers. I have seen some rough stuff in this GoodWill! Her item and my items were only a bit scratched. Last week I was there to shop and seen a particle board dresser with extreme water damage. The price tag on it was $20! I have a friend who donated and her experience was just as bad. The guy working told her she could unload and separate the items. Why is he there then if your to unload and separate? Contactless donating would imply that no one would be present or you would not exit your vehicle. I will not be donating or shopping...

This is my absolute favorite Goodwill and I've been to many. The staff is AWESOME. I'm very happy that they will now price things at the register if you find something with no price sticker. I have found so many beautiful "treasures" here including designer purses, clothing, shoes, jackets, cool furniture, and even great children's items. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable. Mondays are my favorite because seniors get 25% off! Check out the color of the week for a discount, and allow yourself enough time to browse.
