Ya Fei — Restaurant in Robinson Township

Inconsistent, full of seeds. We ordered General Tso, pineapple fried rices, lo mein. All were ordered with mild level spice since we'd not eaten there before and were concerned of it being too spicy since we like to taste our food (retrospectively, we probably could have ordered medium, easily).

Every dish, every bite had hard seeds that looked like the kind in peppers, and every alternating bite had hard pieces of pepper skins. It was a pretty unpleasant experience. Maybe you forgot to reconstitute them?

If you can get past these pieces of junk in your meal... the pineapple rice was very boring... i think I was hoping for something more Polynesian. The lo mein was familiar, but I wouldnt bother reordering it. The General Tsos was thrown out. The breading was soggy with no flavor... no sauce, no spice, and the chicken itself felt soggy or squishy. The white rice that accompanied was SO dry, like a hard dry brick packed in the little container.

We ordered take out, but we pi ked up on time and did not wait long to start eating. I cant really say any thing very good about...

We placed an order online for lunch. Even though the online system was slow and continued to freeze we still completed and submitted our lunch request. We paid online for our food to be picked up. Later we received a call that we could not have our food at the “Lunch” price because they didn’t receive it until after 3. We always order our lunch before 3 as we know the price increases up to $12 more for the same items. I’m very disappointed with the rude attendant that called to inform us that we could not have the lunch menu items that we ordered because they received the order after 3. Katie said that they throw away all lunch food items at 3:00 pm. So even though we placed our order online for lunch before 3 and the online system allowed us to order she would not allow us to pick up our order unless we paid for dinner prices. We frequent Ya Fei often for lunch. It’s a shame to say that we no longer will. I checked the online site and because it is 3:35 you can not order lunch which proves that we placed our Lunch order...

Went there for the first time and ordered take out the employees there were very nice and friendly once getting back to start eating food almost half way done saw a stink bug! In the general so chicken instantly turned off the food quality to begin with wasn’t so great for how expensive it is I got 4 food items and it was 80$ I got the takeout close to 10pm tried to call back didn’t have luck reaching anyone so waited till morning. The girl who answered claimed she was the manger which I don’t believe she was had me on hold for 13min to return on the phone stating I wasn’t getting refunded but partial because I would have had brought all the food back like they expected me to just save it don’t waste your time or money going here it was with out a doubt the worst Chinese food in Pittsburgh regardless of the bug found crab Rangoon’s were Soggy the sushi sloppy and the rice was more pudding then rice but usually when Chinese restaurants are in a plaza like that you can expect it not being...
