Swoon Lash + Beauty Lounge — Local services in Rochester

I wanted to share my recent experience at Swoon Lash, as I left feeling extremely disappointed.

I booked a hybrid set for my birthday, and from the start, the results were not what I expected. The lashes looked uneven, incomplete, gaps in between and almost like they were already due for a refill. I was also told the corners, left and right side could not be done, but no clear explanation was given. Considering the cost and the fact that I specifically mentioned my natural lashes are curly (and can be challenging without experience), I had hoped for more care and skill.

After voicing my concerns, I was transferred to Kayla, who was kind and apologetic, and offered me a full redo. Unfortunately, due limited openings for such a last minute redo and my upcoming birthday trip and my work schedule, I wasn’t able to do the redo until return before traveling. Upon coming back, I reached out again, only to receive no response for weeks. By the time she did reply I will traveling for work with limited internet access, she apologized and said she just got back from vacation. As soon as I got back several days later I followed up several times and have been ignored since.

This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated. I spent a significant amount of money, missed the chance to enjoy my birthday look, and was left without any resolution. If a redo was no longer possible, I believe that should have been communicated honestly instead of being unresponsive. Or, schedule me for a future appointment.

Sadly, this has cost your business not only my continued support but also referrals from colleagues who were current customers and also considering booking. Consistency and professionalism are so important in this industry, and unfortunately, I did not experience that here. I would give 0/5 if I could. Photos are day 2, by 4-5 it was pretty...

Swoon is absolutely amazing! All of the staff at Swoon are so kind and make all of their clients feel right at home. I can honestly say I will NEVER go anywhere else to get my eyelashes done. I have been going to Swoon for almost a year now, and every time is nothing short of perfect! Hailie was my first lash artist and was amazing, however when I moved I had to find someone local to Rochester! She recommended me to Ashley, and I have been going to her ever since. Ashley made me feel welcome right away, and takes her time to make sure your lashes are perfect every time!
