We stopped for the first time yesterday. I have heard many positive things about their food, but never tried it myself until yesterday.
I was surprised how good it was. We ordered carry out, and the food was waiting and ready when we arrived. This is a new store/location on Rochester. It’s a beautiful building and very large seating area inside. I had no idea it was this big, it doesn’t look large from the parking lot. It’s a great location, kinda across the street from Boubdless- the play area.
The staff we interacted with were nice and thanked us for ordering. We grabbed the food bags and left. Meals were all accurate and exactly what we ordered. I loved that they have 2 different types of rice. They let you order 1/2 of each, same with the 2 types of beans if you want. We received free Queso & chips. It was very good. I enjoyed the food and feel it’s priced better than Chipotle and slightly more than Panchero but much better selection than both of the other restaurants. However, my bowl wasn’t full. It had little rice and even less meat. The veg bowl had 3 green pepper pieces , 2 skinny red and a few onion pieces. That was it, so not at all what I expected. While it was delicious, there just wasn’t much of it. I never eat a whole bowl, I only make it through half. I ate all of this one, had chips and then we split a dessert - cheese cake at the house. So- portion size needs some serious adjustment to keep our business. I did feel like it was all super fresh and enjoyed everything about it. Just not enough of it. The burrito was tiny too. My husband’s taco salad was filled to the brim and he felt full. So it was just the...
Read moreAlright, so I popped into Qdoba today, craving something with a kick, and their Habanero Lime Steak bowl absolutely delivered! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was exactly what I look for in a quick, satisfying meal – friendly staff, a clean counter, and that inviting aroma of fresh ingredients. Building my bowl was a breeze, and I loved seeing all the vibrant toppings laid out. I went for the Habanero Lime Steak as my protein, and it was the star of the show. The steak itself was tender and flavorful, but that habanero lime sauce? Chef's kiss! It had this fantastic balance of citrusy brightness from the lime, a fresh hint of cilantro, and then that perfect, lingering warmth from the habanero. It wasn't just heat for heat's sake; it truly enhanced the beef without overpowering it. I paired it with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, pico de gallo, some crisp lettuce, and of course, I took full advantage of the free guacamole and queso. The guac was creamy and fresh, and the queso added that rich, cheesy goodness without being too heavy. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes, from the zesty steak to the creamy avocado and the satisfying crunch of the lettuce. Honestly, it was a fantastic experience. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and that Habanero Lime Steak is definitely a game-changer. If you're looking for a quick, customizable meal with a delightful blend of flavor and a manageable kick, I highly recommend swinging by Qdoba and trying that Habanero Lime Steak bowl. I'll definitely be back...
Read moreToday was the very last time I will pay for food that isn't correct temperature and made to order. All employees were doing other things, not looking that we had ordered. It was breakfast, and order was placed at 9:44. By 10:10 I sent my husband in, to be told after they couldn't understand him apparently, that they needed to make more chorizo. Both bowls were made with the same portion, even though I paid for extra of many items. The ENTIRE bowl was COLD. We finally got it at almost 10:25, food was cold throughout, in the bag you could feel it through the bowl and bag. No one cared. I will not come back, I expect a refund. There were 3 people working. Sadly only the 2nd time ordering breakfast, and I thought it was cold the first time because we brought it home. Not possible, the eggs and potatoes aren't even warm. Imagine that I immediately went to the grocery store, purchased the ingredients to make the bowls at home. So disappointed, so angry I spent $ for wasted breakfast, and angry I'm asked for tipping when the crew isn't even worth minimum wage earnings. I'm not paying for other people to keep their jobs. Qdoba needs to evaluate...
