We stopped in today, and a vendor had a sealed WWE Chrome Megabox. My girlfriend spent quite a bit of money on the box, and opened it when we got home. We quickly realized that the box had been previously opened, and the packs switched out. We had NONE, ZERO of the guaranteed hits from the box, we assume that they had switched the packs out with those from blaster packs of the same WWE Chrome set, as they had those for sale as well.
After close examination, we discovered a counterfeit authenticity sticker seal applied to seal the box it's self, and the Topps cellophane had been cut open and resealed, to make it appear as factory sealed. This vendor also has other sealed product for sale, and I can only assume they have all been tampered with. They also sell singles, and I would be very careful, as those are more than likely fakes as well.
We love shopping here, we've driven down from Maine quite a few times and this isn't the owners of the store's fault. But vendors like this should be barred from having a booth at a this Antique store. Knowingly unboxing, and repackaging sealed trading cards with counterfeit authenticity and manufacturers seals should be a crime. I certainly hope we were the only ones to get swindled by...
Read moreI'm so glad this place has limited hours because if they didn't I would spend not only all day but all my money here, haha. I absolutely love this place. There's a little something for any collector of any sort here and I've never walked out of here empty handed. My younger brother who lives in Stratham has asked my partner and I to take him here for his past two birthdays in a row and he also never walks out empty handed. If someone were to ask me for places they MUST visit if they're in Rochester, this would be the first place I'd suggest. Everyone's always really nice, both staff and fellow customers alike, and it's such a cozy place for...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I'm from RI and I have been to nearly all antique/consignment stores in RI and we have nothing to compare to this stores variety or it's incredible organized methods. I spent almost 3 hrs there and only got to see the 1st floor. There's a basement and 2nd floor too. The place is HUGE and incredibly neat considering the amount of inventory there is. FROM soup to nuts and everything in between. WOW THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DISCRIBE THE PLACE. ALSO INCREDIBLE PRICES, BRING YOUR BIGGEST TRUCK BECAUSE IF YOU WANT TO YOU CAN FILL IT . . It's worth the drive for...
