Walgreens — Local services in Rochester

For over 15 years I have been a loyal customer of Walgreens, both for myself, and my family. I've never had any problems with Walgreens until I came to this store at this location. Don't ever go to this Walgreen its absolutely unbelievable how they treat their customers.

So two weeks ago, I order a prescription I was told on that day my order will be ready in few hours. I came back shortly after few hours as i was told, and the young lady there I'm assuming she was a pharmacy tech, She started giving me attitude and cutting me off when I spoke to her. She decided to completely ignore me and help the customer behind me. I didn't took it personally I waited patiently. After she was done with the customer, I asked her for my prescription and she suggested that I should come back the following week on Monday for my prescription because they were out of stock. I didn't mind that I agreed.

On the following Monday I came back to the store and the same pharmacy tech was there, I asked her about my prescription and she said again to come back the following day. The next day when I showed up again she said to come back few hours later.

At this point I knew I wouldn't get my prescription from this store, so I told her to transfer it over to Minneapolis. She gave me attitude again and raised her voice over me but I didn't say much to her.

I called the store in Minneapolis while I was driving and I spoke to another lady there, she said it'll be ready for me in 30 minutes. When I got to the store in Minneapolis and I asked the lady for my prescription, she said that I wasn't in the system. I asked her what she meant I'm not in the system. I insist her to look at it again and she finally recognized that I was the one who called few minutes ago. The young lady said that my prescription was ready at the Minneapolis but between the time i called and now someone went into the system and decided to change it to New York. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing but finally I got my prescription from store location in Minneapolis. But there was no doubt in my mind that the young lady over at this rochester location went in to the system and changed it to New York.

This location of walgreen shouldn't even exist because they absolutely wasted all my time and energy, I had to drove to Minneapolis which is 1 hour away just to pick up my prescription.It was taking them 2 weeks to get my prescription ready and even then it was still not ready. This location is ruining the brand of walgreen, I'v never witnessed such poor customer services at this rate at all. I've lived in 5 different states and been a loyal customer to walgreen for over 15 years. I've never seen any walgreen store that treat their customers the way this location does. I just couldn't believe what they put me through, Walgreen should be convenience store at "the corner of happy and healthy" I definitely was not healthy or happy at this location. Walgreen headquarter needs to be aware of this location and get involved into shutting it down because this is definitely not how to run business. This location doesn't even deserve 1...

I’ve been here a week ago to get a flu shot and the nurse was inexperienced. She literally stabbed my shoulder with the needle and it hurt so bad. She DEFINITELY does NOT know what she is doing! Please be careful when you get your shots! Ask who you’ll be seeing cuz it feels like this nurse didn’t care about how her patients feel post getting the shot. I was gonna complain about this if my shoulder got swollen but I decided NOT to cuz God healed my arm; however, this is a dangerous way to treat patients! I don’t understand why patients have to meet such nurses but please think ahead before getting shots from pharmaceutical stores like this one!

In addition, Pharm Techs have no idea how to assist customer with finding items! I was literally looking for a sleep medication today in the sleep wide aisle and they just pointed it to me but NEVER helped me out in figuring out which meds are STRONGER and which ones are mild!

Overall, I’d say that they really need to work on their customer service hence why I gave them a one star! ⭐️ I’m usually NOT the type to COMPLAIN or write ✍️ reviews unless it is a POSITIVE one; however, I just thought that writing this up might help potential customers to know that they MAY NOT get the good experience they are looking for at this store!

I’d suggest going elsewhere if this store doesn’t work out for you!

It was my first time going here and it was kinda funny seeing the rest of everyone looking like they would set a scene taking place a small 3 AM gas station where everyone is just getting over things to buy what they want. Ok, but foreal everyone now can understand this atmosphere since the spreading of people admitting their reviews. which is a chain of mad guys. Maybe because I'm not used to drugs stores with people being in a dead mood at times, but this location I went to was in odd shape. Like everything else looked fine and normal like you would go to a usual store like target (except dressed up as a drug/beauty store)... but the thing that brought me here reviewing what is going on are the people who are supposed to be working for everyone else and guess what? Their are NOT enough workers, just this random lady standing there looking like she wanted to be silent and get over her job while the process of all these people in line just patiently waiting for...
