To the random lady in the parking lot: I should have listened when you said that you had already seen someone who was very upset about not being able to get their phone in a timely manner. That was foreshadowing. I should have also paid mind to the store being set to open an hour late.
I made an appointment online, like a fool. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door stating that they were no longer accepting repairs. I asked if that included appointments. Yes, that includes appointments. Is there anywhere else? Yeah, you can go to Pineville. There are several other repair shops in Rock Hill, for the record. Prices are comparable.
Simply put, the customer service is atrocious. I can understand being short-staffed. What's not tolerable is that when they know that they won't be able to honor your appointment they won't have the courtesy to let you know before you show up. Your time will be lost. To compound that, they don't have the mental or professional wherewithal to reschedule the appointment or even recommend another of their stores until you ask, as if that was your one chance. I can understand not wanting to send people to a competitor, but you should suggest somewhere instead of just providing a blank stare. This isn't the kind of service that you would expect from a store backed by a large company. Employees may know how to perform repairs (I wasn't able to find out), but they lack customer service training or any concern for...
Read morei broke my home button and phone screen on my iphone earlier this week. i took my device here on monday afternoon, received a diagnostic, and was told that the diagnostic would be $40 and the replacement would cost $50. i was also told that the part would have to be ordered and to come back on wednesday. when i brought my phone back on wednesday i dropped it off after confirming that the replacement would be $50. i was told to come back roughly two hours later to pick up my device. when i arrived i was told that not only was my phone not fixed, but that it would actually cost $250 dollars to correctly repair my screen and home button. this is five times what i was quoted multiple times, by two different employees. i asked the employee to put my original broken screen back on my phone. when returned, my original phone screen was scratched where it had not previously had damage. do not take your devices here. they mislead me about the price of this repair at every given opportunity. take your business to someone who is not going to try to...
Read moreScheduled an appointment thru Samsung for 10, called to rs my appointment to 1. I drove 45 mins there and arrived at 11:45 to a sign saying they couldn't take any more repair claims today. The store doesnt close for another 6 hours and I had an appointment so I went in. They sent one person away til Monday, they were nice enough to him. The next person they said she needed to bring her phone back on Wednesday after they had already taken it apart. Her battery was expanding. She asked if they thought it would catch fire and they said yeah. So she left. Then he told me he couldn't help me today until I reminded him I had my appt rescheduled. He looked up my info and said I didnt file a claim, just an appointment. I said we talked about this yesterday and you said you had everything you needed from me (info) and all the parts already in stock! This all was a waste of time and if everything was communicated better when I spoke to them the previous days I wouldn't be so frustrated. They need to work on communication and customer...
