Sol Cafe — Restaurant in Rock Hill

The husband and I stopped by for brunch on a whim. It was very busy, but we were seated quickly. Our order was taken promptly...but the wait for said order was a little longer than we had hoped. When the food did arrive, it was very good. Unfortunately, half way through our meal the hostess sat some of her friends and proceeded to practice being a waitress while talking about coworkers and complaining how "bored" she was ... I had only one cup of coffee through my entire meal, while it seemed our waitress had disappeared. We had errands we had come into town for, and started to get agitated with how long we were waiting for our bill. Just as we were discussing finding someone so we could pay, I caught our waitresses eye. After a few more minutes she did come and settle the bill and offer us some drinks to go. We may try again some day...but not when we are on...

Just had breakfast here and it was AMAZING! Started with a sol mimosa to drink. I had banana Foster's French toast which was so good. The service was great probably the best I've experienced in a long time. Their coffee beans come from Knowledge Perk which is a local coffee place where they roast their own coffee. I can't find a bad thing about this place. Everything was hot and came out quickly. Can't wait to go back. Not badly priced either.

Went again for dinner. Did not disappoint at all. Absolutely amazing. The fact we came back twice in a day says alot about a place. I had brunch here with my daughter today. Omg! I tried the new Party Burger and it was delicious! I do have to say that my daughter is a server here, so I go as much as possible. Weekdays are my favorite time to go since weekends tend to be busy. The food is always INCREDIBLE and the service is fantastic. Everything is made fresh when you order. Don't expect fast food quickness from a specialty restaurant. If you want wonderful quality food, go to Sol Cafe. If you want speedy average food, try Waffle House or Cracker Barrel.
