The store appearance was nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming with smiles. This is being rated on the customer service that my husband and myself received from Amber. At first she came off as very friendly. She was too pushy about her recommendations of brand of boots that were very high priced. When we had a vocher that we gave her for a specific amount. We went in there with a vocher for my husbands work. She repeated herself about 20 times for the 20 percent discount and was overly obnoxious about it. Not very professional to carry a elf bar around in her hands as she was talking with them and wiping it on her skirt while doing so. I get you have upsells to do and commissions to make but she tried quite a few times to sell us on other things we didn't need probably about 4 differnt times after we said no thank you. I get she was trying to do her job. My husband found a pair of boots based on her recommendations. He asked if he could wear the boots out she said yes just had to take the tag off. We get up to the register and he had to pay the difference. He sat his shoes on the counter along with his drivers license and his work badge. He told her he had to go get his card to pay the difference. So I was just standing there I moved one of his shoes and she rudely tells me that I have to stay inside the store while he goes and gets his card because she apparently was under the impression that he was going to try to steal the shoes. I wasn't even trying to follow him out the door. I really feel she could have worded things differently and said things in a more professional manner. She needs to learn some better customer service skills as she has been employed at this location...
Read moreMy son is disabled and on a fixed income. Unfortunately the boots he purchased last year from Boot Barn were a couple weeks beyond a year old. After my son purchased his boots last year he moved to Arkansas temporarily when his boots started falling apart. He asked around about boot repair but no one knew anything about it. There wasn't a Boot Barn in Arkansas where he was staying. So my son had no way to return his boots. I forgot to mention these where his very first boots he ever purchased. My son recently returned to WY and today we went in our local Boot Barn to look around and to ask if anyone does Boot repair in the area. Marshall the General manager was more than happy to help my son. As my son explained what he's been going through with his boots Marshall shared his knowledge about the nearest boot repair places. Unfortunately those places are in Colorado. Marshall also told my son about the possibility of Danpost helping him with repair or even replacement. He told my son to try them before trying to have them repaired. He also said if we have issues with Danpost to let him know. My son contacted Dan post and they told him they wouldn't do anything at this point and basically rushed him off the phone without hearing him out. My son called Marshall with the disappointing news and Marshall was more than kind and had us bring the defective boots in for replacements. Again he took time to educate my son on how to care for his boots and showed him how to use the silicone spray we purchased. All I can say is Marshall you are awesome and definitely deserve the position you have with Boot Barn. You made my disabled son very happy today, thank you for...
Read moreFirst experience was awesome. 2 years later not so much. Took a full year to make it back in while they were open since I live out of state. I tried to ask about warranty for Danner boots. Never owning them before I didn't expect them to blow out like a cheap pair of Walmart boots. But the seams ripped open on both boots and the sole came off the bottom of another. The 2 ladies not only said they had no idea but couldn't care less as they totally disregarded me and my wife as we tried to ask about other brands. But they immediately moved on to other customers. I wondered if I was just being sensitive since I was disappointed in my boots, but my wife said she was disgusted and said " Yeah, never again, we'll go somewhere else." Sad though, first time was with the owner. Thought we had found the perfect spot, even had room to...
