TT nails — Local services in Rockaway Township

I'm honestly SO disappointed in this place. I went here to get my nails done about a week ago for vacation. I told the lady at least 5 times I DID NOT WANT TO OAY EXTRA FOR GEL. she finally gave in and told me she won't put gel. Next thing you know a man that worked there came over to me with the gel sample colors trying to match the colors i picked out in the regular nail polish selection. I told him No, none of those colors match what I picked out and I don't want gel... once AGAIN. I finally think they understand and then the lady whips out the gel and starts doing my nails going over it with the gel. I don't get what is wrong with these people and how many times i had to say i didn't want it but she said it's only $5 more so i was just like okay whatever since she INSISTED OVER 10 TIMES. My nails turned out all right besides the shape was a little uneven but for the price it was just fine i didn't have much time before i left for vacation. Fast forward about 20 minutes after i left the nail salon and my nails on my left hand looked all messed up . when i left the nail salon they were perfect and completely dry because she put gel over them and wiped them down after . So i ended up figuring out what the problem was . Since she couldn't match the color i wanted and made me get gel, she put the gel over the reg. nail polish and i guess she didn't wait for the nail polish to dry before putting the gel over it so it lefts the nails on my hand looking nasty. I went back the next morning as soon as they opened because my flight was leaving just a few hours after and of course the lady that did my nails wasn't in . So i explained to them my situation and another girl redid them . I told her because of what happened yesterday I DONT WANT GEL. And she said okay no problem i'll fix them for you, no charge. And what does she do? SHE PUTS THE GEL RIGHT OVER THE REG NAIL POLISH AGAIN. At the point i'm just fed up and i just wanted her to fix what happened yesterday so i figured she knew what she was doing . And i swear 5 minutes after walking out the same thing started to happen again. I was so done i didn't even bother going back again i had no time left . I will never return back here . Dirty, back customer service, You guys don't listen to the customers and give them what they paid for. And it's sad because i've given this place so many chances i've been going here on and off for years. and they've mad a lot of mistakes on not only me but my mom and friends . I should've listened to the reviews . Spend your money somewhere else please don't bother wasting your time ....

My friend and I went to this nail salon yesterday looking to get a gel fill and a new set of acrylic tips. We were both immediately sat. A technician began doing my nails and another technician put my friend's nails in acetone and hot water to soak her acrylics off in order to put a new set on. As my friend is soaking, a woman comes in and asks for a pedicure. My friend's technician sat the other customer and begins completing her entire pedicure while my friend is sitting there for 45 minutes with her hands in acetone. At this point, the acrylic glue that soaked off her nails has hardened and is all over her hands. She begins peeling off the glue on her hands and nails herself. My technician sees what's happening, and instead of asking another technician to help my friend, she HANDS MY FRIEND A NAIL FILE AND SCRAPER AND TELLS HER TO FILE THEM HERSELF. My friend and I got so upset and told her that we come to a nail salon to GET our nails done, NOT do them ourselves!!! After this, my friend refused to get her nails done at this place so she sat waited for me...my gel refill took 2 1/2 hours!!!!! I asked for ombre French nails, which I did not realize required airbrushing. The airbrushing came out terrible and it looks like someone spray painted my nails. At the end, my technician asked, "Are you two paying together?" after my friend took all her nails off herself and has glue all over her hands! I told her my friend is not paying a dime and she tried to argue with me!!! Then she charged me $65 for a refill!!!! This place is extremely expensive and the staff is very rude. I do...

I am a lisenced cosmetologist and I was a nail technician this past summer. The girl that waxed my eyebrows omg. You would think that she's still learning or still in school!!!!! I've been getting my eyebrows done since I was a teenager. I know how long they take and what they do. I've also been on the other side!!! I told her right from the start my eyebrows are very uneven I would like them the same if ya can. And that plan flopped!!!!! They both are still diffrrent To make it worse I have very stupid sensitive skin I was so red and bumpy which happends normally but this time it was way worse and because she didn't do it properly it was a worse mess and they did not have wax removal cream or cooling gel!! You can get it at Sallys beauty supply .....(should be a no brainer) Gigis is the brand she didn't do too much wax so now I have to make my left one thicker. Or wait to make the other one thinner.... she also said that I need my lip done when clearly I said to her was all I want is my eyebrows evened out and done! So I said yes only because maybe I missed a spot .... she pulled out one hair. And I look in the mirror of my moms car the next day (today) and my mustache is still there. NEVER GOING BACK THERE EVER!!!!!! WASTE OF TIME WASTE OF MONEY. I SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN TIPPED HER. SHE DIDN'T EVEN SHOW ME MY BROWS IN THE MIRROR THAT YOUR...
