A couple of days ago I ordered, for delivery, a beautiful arrangement online for my parents 55th Wedding Anniversary. The ordering process was simple to navigate and convenient. So today I waited for the phone call/text from my mom to say they received it and thank you which she ALWAYS does for any gift she receives, lol. At 3:50p I call my mom only to find out that they were at dinner and hadn’t been home for awhile. Concerned that Pepper Creek may have left it on their porch and the possibility that the cold temp would destroy the flowers, I decided to go down to their house and bring it back to mine until they were home. Before I left I called Pepper Creek (3:55p) to see if it had been delivered or if it was on its way as I had not received that expected call from mom. I find out though that due to a computer snafu my order did not get delivered nor did they know about it! The manager (I believe his name was Bob, but if not I apologize) came on the line and said he was so very sorry, he would get the arrangement together and personally deliver it tonight. Well I told him that they were not home, they were currently having dinner so there’d be no point in having him drive it out there tonight. He politely asked me if I knew where they were having dinner at and says he would take the flowers to them at the restaurant. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate him offering to do that. Now some might say that they should have done anything to correct their mistake and maybe you’re right but I wasn’t expecting that kind of service nor was I asking for it. I absolutely do not recommend using Pepper Creek for wedding flowers. My flowers showed up the day of my wedding and were nothing like what I asked for. When the flowers were brought to my room I immediately said “ Those aren’t mine” and broke into tears and panic when I saw that they had my name. I spent over an hour trying to get the flowers fixed. I ended up having another company come out and they spray painted the pepper creek flowers for me since it was so last minute. Over $2,000 was spent just for the wrong flowers to show up. I missed my first look, as well as my bridesmaids and groomsmen pictures due to scrambling to get the right flower. To top it off all of my centerpieces were wrong at the venue as she also used pink flowers in those. Those could not be fixed because the flowers were in water, underneath floating candles. It’s not like I talked to a random associate at Pepper Creek either. I spoke to Vicki who organizes and does all the arrangements and had a sit down meeting with her while also showing her pictures and sending her pictures to refer back to.

I do however recommend Hello Beautiful in Rockford. They came to the rescue within 15 min and spray painted roses for me and fixed my flowers in minutes when pepper creek had months to make these arrangements. I asked for no orange and to avoid pink unless it was a fall color. I’m attaching the picture below; the ones that a look like Valentine’s Day flowers with the pink and orange are the ones from pepper creek. Save yourself some tears, time, and money.
