Inkwell Books & Threads is such a gem of a bookstore! It has a super cute and cozy vibe with a wide variety of books to browse—from bestsellers to hidden gems. If you’re looking for something specific, the owner is more than happy to special order it for you, which is such a great personal touch. What makes this shop even more special is the strong focus on local collaborations. You’ll find everything from books by local authors to coloring books, bookmarks, candles, and t-shirts—all made by local artists and makers. It’s such a great place to support community talent while finding your next great read. Highly recommend stopping in and supporting this amazing local business!

Inkwell is one of those places that just feels good to walk into. It’s cozy and beautifully put together. But more than that, it’s warm, welcoming and exactly the kind of space the world needs more of. The space has such a comforting energy and it’s clear the owners care deeply about community and creating an inclusive and comfortable environment. Whether you're searching for your next favorite book or for a unique gift, you'll find something special here. So grateful to have a space like this nearby!

Just stopped into Inkwell Books and Threads and loved it! What a great gem for the area. If you are like me, being in big box book stores can be over whelming - Inkwell allows you to browse the best of the best without being over whelmed by the book selection. I would recommend stopping in. This store gives Rockton a modern store that it needs.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Inkwell Books & Threads is pure magic.

From the moment you step through the door, you’re wrapped in the kind of warmth you usually only find in your favorite childhood memory or the coziest novel you’ve ever read. The staff are genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat about your latest read or help you discover something new. It’s clear they love this place as much as the customers do.

The selection is incredible. Carefully curated, inclusive, and delightfully eclectic. Whether you’re looking for a new fantasy obsession, a thought-provoking memoir, or a hidden gem from a small press, you’ll find it here. And it’s not just books! Their clothing and tchotchkes are like a treasure trove of whimsy and charm. Vintage-inspired sweaters, sustainably-sourced vintage dresses, literary candles, quirky ceramics—you name it.

But the real heart of Inkwell? The space itself. The interior is a haven with shelves that practically hum with stories and couches so plush and inviting you’ll lose track of time curled up in them. It’s a space that wants you to linger. It’s not just a store—it’s a sanctuary that welcomes not only the individual, but regularly hosts groups in a space that really uplifts the community.

I truly can’t recommend Inkwell Books & Threads enough. It’s everything an indie bookstore should be: community-rooted, beautifully curated, and...

I have never been to this book store but after speaking with the girl on the phone I chose not to go. My friends and I were going to come in for the True Crime Trivia night on Thursday but we had a couple questions, it cost $30 which included trivia, 2 glasses of wine and snacks or treats, I called to ask if the price would still be $30 for some one who did not want any wine and the girl replied, "Yes it is still $30 and there is water instead of wine and you still get snacks" I said "Okay, I figured I would just ask" I was being a little goofy on the phone ( all in good spirits ) asking is it like a glass of wine or like a GLASS of wine lol, she was pretty rude and responded with "Actually it is a traditional 3oz pour and you can only have 2 glasses per guest" insinuating that even though my friend still had to pay the full $30 that we could not drink her wine. All in all she was pretty un-cool and killed our vibe so we chose to skip it, also a traditional glass of wine is 5oz. I could get a better buzz off of a miller lite...
