Paid $230 for haircut, root, and balayage by Lauren Wallace. The picture with the blue pajama shirt is how I walked out after styling. The other picture is how I looked after styling my hair the next day. I requested a different stylist to fix my hair, or a refund. Lauren and the owner were not willing to accommodate my request, only offering a correction by Lauren. My willingness to have her cut my hair again was one inch short of saying yes (or one inch long, depending on what side you are looking at). I was not even offered a refund of the $50 tip I gave, as I did not know I needed to check my length before prior to leaving the salon. It was a 3.5 hour appointment despite me communicating that it usually takes 5 hours to finish my hair if I am doing balayage.

I got my hair corrected at another salon. The stylist went from giggling with me at how silly I looked, to genuinely upset for me. This culminated as she showed me how my face framing layers were longer near my face and shorter away...

I have been going to Lauren Wallace for over a year now after having 3 different Stateline stylists. One of my best friends recommended her and almost ALWAYS had the most vibrant peekaboo colors in her hair.

She is hands down the best stylist I have had to date, and the only one that has gotten color to stay in my hair and vibrant even 6 weeks apart - just awesome. I have great confidence and trust in her and even have offered her the opportunity to make decisions on behalf of me for hair colors 🤣. I have not had a bad experience to date and cannot thank her enough in helping me get my confidence back appearance wise from the shoulders up 🖤.

Recently I had to switch stylists because of a move & really wasn’t sure where I would go. Within a few weeks of making the decision to look for someone closer to home I found a young lady I knew as a youth who had just started doing hair within a 5 minute drive. I have been there twice but was still undecided on what I wanted to do with my hair but wanting a change. We figured out what to do but after she took the color out SHE wasn’t happy. She decided to do something more & it turned out better than I could have imagined. If you’re looking for a change & want a perfectionist you HAVE to give Jess Lawver a try.
