What has happened to this place? I came in around 9p on a Friday expecting it to be the same fun, happy and thriving place it used to be. There were 3 couples in here, the place looked bare, their adult beverages are limited and I had this overwhelming sense of sadness that it might be closing down. I hadn’t realized how late it was and ordered one of my favorites, their patty melt. The bartender looked at her watch, a gentle notice to me that their kitchen was probably closing but she put the order in with a smile anyway (bless her kind heart) and it came out quick and perfect so big stars to her and the kitchen staff because these days most places would have told me no. Super big thanks and all 4 stars to them! But I have always been used to seeing this place packed, especially on a Friday for fish fry but the restaurant section was dark and gloomy.
