Renegade Customs — Local services in Rockwall

Owning a small business, I understand that when most people have excellent service, they tend to thank the business go off on their merry way, and hopefully, recommend the company via word of mouth to others who may inquire about similar services. Today I want to make a “dent” in Renegade Customs’s google rankings. I have lived in the Rockwall/Heath area for many years, and I had never heard of Renegade customs, and I did what any average person would do…Googled it! I had a brand new pickup truck, and I wanted to put a clear bra on the front in addition to installing a powered tonneau cover I had purchased online. I originally planned on only doing the paint protection at Renegade until the owner, Chris, said he could do the cover (for slightly more money) instead of me dropping it off at the other installer and bringing it back. I liked their shop, staff, and customer service and decided to do it all in their shop, and I am glad I did. They did an impeccable job on the paint protection, and bed cover, which I would like to add was a brand they never installed before. In fact, they did such a good job that I expanded the scope of work, including their ten-year ceramic protection and some other items. Overall I give them an AAAAAA++++ rating for customer service, communication, work ethic, and attention to detail; they are the complete package. I am incredibly picky and detailed regarding my vehicles and how I take care of them, and I feel like Chris, and his team treated my truck as their own. The entire team is knowledgeable and skilled, with Chris being the hands-on owner ensuring the job is done right, even jumping in whenever he can to make a customer delivery. For the first time in my life, I am impressed by a custom detail shop, and because of that, I will make the same investment with my wife’s vehicle and recommend the shop to everyone I know. I was able to purchase a Line-X Premium, spray-in bedliner after receiving a credit toward it on a used truck purchase I made recently.

Upon my arrival, shortly after 9:00am this morning, I met the Owner of Renegade Customs (also Line-X Rockwall), Chris Lewis. Chris is very personable, friendly, and professional. He took time not only to explain the Line-X process, but also introduced me to a couple of other very impressive vehicle surface protection products, i.e., Ceramic Pro®(ceramic coating for all vehicle surfaces) and XPEL®("invisible" protective vehicle film).

I also had the pleasure of meeting some of the other Staff and had only very good and positive experience. Everyone was friendly and professional.! Thanks to ALL for that!!

Now I'm a former owner of Cook's Offroad, Cooks Tire&Tune, and Murphys Speed Shop on the west coast. After selling my stores I moved to TX 5 years ago with no aftermarket truck accessory connections here in TX. I looked around locally and found this shop Renegade in Rockwall. They installed my backflip cover a few years back and it failed on me. Knowing with my past experience selling this product I didn't have much faith in getting it covered under warranty. So I stopped into Renegade and spoke to the guys at the counter to buy another bed cover. Well after they inspected it and confirmed it was something that should in fact be covered. Well they called me a few days later and got it covered. I was stoked. They stayed in contact with me thorough the warranty process and scheduled me a reservation to have it installed. I went in and 30 minutes later it was replaced at no charge to me. These guys are on top of their process for sure. Well I'd say I've found my new shop. I think I'll have them install a Carly loft next time I stop in. Completely satisfied, I recommend this business ....
