Manager asleep at the helm, yet on a power trip! (3pm June 10) The mandatory message on my last 2 orders have just been a lazily drawn tiny smiley face. This location repeatedly spits in the face of CEO Brian Niccol’s "Back to Starbucks" effort to restore a sense of community and humanize the brand. They were out of sweet cream to make cold foam and offered a dairy free alternative to which my friend said “eww no one wants that” as a joke and the manager cut over the speaker claiming she was rude to the barista by saying that and therefore would not be served. Stuck in the drive thru line she had to continue in the queue where the manager gossiped to other patrons and then was set up filming on her cellphone as she went to drive away. I called to clear the air… I mean this is a place I spend literally hundreds of dollars a month at for work orders and personal enjoyment how could they do this? Power trip manager informed me my friend is now “ban” from their location. As a white woman I know if I had made a joke about no one wanting non dairy creamer we all would have giggled and moved on no matter how dry my delivery of that comment may have been. Read moreProbably just growing pains because this is a new location. Went through the drive through. The order of the woman in front of me was clearly messed up. The server tried to hand her several drinks and she refused them (no idea what was wrong). Fixing her order took about 5 minutes. The server then gave me one of the drinks she refused and quoted my order of an “iced coffee with half and half and no classic” back to me (correctly) as he handed it over. My kids were screaming so I took the drink and drove off only to take a drink and taste sweet iced coffee so I pulled over and looked and it was the second drink of a 3 drink order with cold pressed vanilla foam. I’m not a fan of vanilla flavoring or sweet coffee generally so it was a waste of $4.28. I checked my order in the Starbucks app and it was rung up correctly. I would have gone back for the correct drink but both my kids were upset and the drive through line was super long. Anyway, check the print out on your order at the drive through before...
Read moreKendall is the is the bomb. She has a dynamic personality with a.razor sharp wit that had us bantering back-and-forth and laughing energetically for close to 10 minutes. We just hope we didn't get her in trouble with her manager by keeping her so long lol. As far as I'm concerned, serving and entertaining the customer was well worth it. Additionally, the decor of this particular Starbucks is quite nice. It's very spacious has a huge patio, and a separate little seating area with a long table in the back. I do recommend this location over some of the others for sure, although I have had no issues with other Starbucks locations. Some are just more appealing than others for different...
