Westlake Towne Center — Local services in Rocky Mount

First, you need to know that this is more of a shopping center than a shopping mall. The big store is a larger Kroger, with deli, bakery, small floral area, and pharmacy. There is a pizza place, Benny Adelinas, which serves huge pizzas. Sweet Frog frozen yogurt (where you choose the flavor and out on your own toppings -osy by weight). A Chinese restaurant with healthier options. Westlake hair salon which I use. Cottage Gate boutique which is a great gift shop - lots if unique gifts and very nice people :-) And a cinema with 4 screens I think. It shows first run movies had a snack bar. A branch of Franklin county library is here and they have some great free programs for all different ages.

On the other side of the parking lot there is a Wendy's, Kroger gas station, and a bank.

Staff are very disrespectful and refused to serve you at times. They also lock the door when its store hours for their convenience. They laugh and talk quietly among themselves about customers. Extremely rude! Customers are angry in the parking lot, telling you their experience, and we were sharing our same experiences. They dump out the food or put it away an hour before the store closes. You come in, and they don't have but one kind of bread. Some vegetables are gone. No soup and no meatballs. Very little choices at all. Seems to be a tactic to close and be done early to leave. If you close at 9, then you should be open and ready to serve folks until 9. The owner could cater less. This has been going on for over a year and he has been losing lots of business...

Prices are too high at Westlake Towne center. people are rude, Kroger's store is dirty no product on shelf and very expensive. Your better off going 6- mins down the road to the shopping center to Food Lion, Food Lion is very clean with a deli, and bakery shop, beautiful produce dept. They have good prices and they are getting a fresh soup, salad, wing, pizza and sandwich station in there store in April 2018. There is a pizza shop Largo, Subway shop, an ABC store and a Oriental restaurant in that plaza, across the street there is gas and a dollar General, up the road is a post office, and Moneta Farms , this area is expanding mores...
