Great prices and good quality items.
Okay, this is a follow-up review about Aldi. They absolutely do have low prices, and in some areas, their competitors are starting to match those prices. I do buy some fresh fruits and vegetables with the caveat, you have to inspect everything thoroughly!! Many times, packages of things like strawberries will contain moldy and spoiled items. This is also true for the potatoes, I bought a 5 pound bag yesterday, but a couple of bags had slimy potatoes. I used to always buy my pineapples here, until I got at least 4 that had clearly been dropped and were just gross. Salads, spinach, and the tubs of organic salads, kale, and spinach are a good deal, but, as with the other things that I have mentioned, check carefully for spoiled and slimy things. Another few items that need inspection are the cheeses, especially the pre-grated ones, the lunch meats, the eggs (that one everybody knows), and check the dates on dairy products. Aldi used to have a really good return policy, but because of Covid, they no longer accept returns the last time I checked, which was several weeks ago. After all of that, I still shop at Aldi fairly regularly. Just check everything carefully. !👍😎 Update** Aldi has now installed several self-checkouts that only accept cards. They also generally have 1 register with a cashier if you want to pay cash or just don't like self-checkouts. The fruit and veg have been really good and they are almost always...
Read moreSelection was great, store was clean. Employees were downright rude. I was visiting from out of town and didn’t have my quarter keeper, so I just used my bags instead of getting a cart. When I went to pay, the cashier quickly and haphazardly threw everything into a cart - even the glass items - and didn’t give me time to put it in my bags. I tried to pull the cart away real quick to go to the loading area and put my stuff in the bags, and the cashier rudely said yanked it back and said “the cart stays HERE.” I understand that it wasn’t my cart but the person behind me had a cart that they could have used to load his groceries until I was done. Alternatively, the cashier could have waited the one minute it would have taken to allow me to load my items in my bags. Then the cashier started loading the next person’s items into the same cart mine were in, mixing them all together!! I quickly tried to load my items in my bags. It was very embarrassing and made me feel stupid. I have shopped at many ALDIs in Texas and never once have I been treated so rudely or childishly. My sister, who lives in this area, said she feels like this every time she goes to...

I don't write complaints until three, maybe four strikes have been made. Every time I've been forced to shop here, I've CONSISTENTLY seen eye-rolling employees tossing produce across the room carelessly, to which I've witnessed bruised ruin fruit/veggies. The c*nts at the counter laugh and talk about their weekend plans right in front of you without ever once acknowledging you at all.
This company also takes pride in "no phone policy" which means you can't reach the store. I lost a ring there once, but because I couldn't call in, I had to waste an entire hour to turn around, head back to the location, find a scraggly lazy worker and ask if anything had turned up missing, to which I was responded with "ehhh....I'owknow man" Wow thanks sir, glad to know we're taken care of here. Yes it's my fault for having lost my ring, but it's good to know the children running this dump are on top of...
