BEWARE! Howse is not a trustworthy or customer service oriented company!
I bought over $15k in living room furniture from Howse. Including 2 electric leather swivel/rocker/recliners (Palliser brand) in July of 2023. In May of 2025 one of the recliners quit working. We contacted Howse. First they said they could not service our chair because we lived outside their area. We live in Ft Smith. Interesting because it was no issue at time of purchase. Then they said contact the manufacturer, Palliser. They referred us back to Howse indicating they had service agreements with the retailer. Howse then stated we were out of warranty (we were not) but we could contact their service provider Serveco out of Georgia. So we did and opened a service request. Serveco required a $210 deposit to even start the conversation. Weeks went by.
I finally gave up. On September 5th I had to argue with Serveco to return my deposit. So 3 months after my $2200 chair quit working...I still can't recline. Howse/Palliser/Serveco are all non responsive. I will find a local service provider to help me...but I will NOT forgive or forget this experience. My only recourse outside the legal process is to alert others about this poorly owned and operated business. HOWSE. Buyer beware!
P.S. we are currently looking to spend at least that amount of money again on bedroom and bar area furniture. We will NOT be...
   Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟As a fellow business owner dealing with customer service situations, I run in to a lot of unfortunate situations, some can not be helped but equally when someone goes above and beyond-I believe in recognizing superior service. From my first contact with Susan at HOWSE, she was “on it.” I needed replacement covers for my sofa. She was knowledgeable, checked on every detail of the process. At one point she hadn’t heard from me and unfortunately I was dealing with several friend/family members passing. She gently reminded me that nothing she needed was more important and was as kind as she could have been. The cushions came quickly, she organized a Direct ship to my home. But the good stuff doesn’t stop there. Just this morning, several weeks after my purchase came and the ticket closed…Susan reached out just to check on me as she knew a lot had happened in a short time. Bless her- Good customer service will bring people back to shop, Excellent customer service will bring people thru YOUR door first, the next time they need anything furniture related.    Read moreThe store in Tulsa closed and this store has my items I had purchase around 10-11 items and I’m finishing building my house since they closed the Tulsa location but I have not heard a word from this store nor the corporate office I’m so frustrated since everything is fully paid and I have not received one phone call to let me know how they will proced or deliver my stuff not ever a letter from either store the only phone call I got was Dec. 20 to say hey we are closing on the 27th amd your stuff will go to Bentonville and they will contact you wich never happened. I need a response as soon as posible be more Professional. Joy in Tulsa said well they will contact you that’s all the information I know in a couple of days .
