Cafe USA — Restaurant in Bentonville

July 15, 2024 - Cafe USA is mine and my neighbor's favorite place to go. The last couple of times, and also today, our waitress has been a curly haired, blonde young lady. She's nice enough, but her brain is elsewhere. Today, our food was cold by the time she served it, in addition to forgetting toast and syrup. We tried several times to wave her down, and she was either watching the television or being busy talking. Her mind was not in her work! This is disheartening to my neighbor and I because we frequent the establishment often. This young lady's service is getting worse instead of better. I was a waitress after high school for a corporate restaurant. And, before COVID-19, had a successful catering business. So, I do understand food service. Sadly, we are now reconsidering coming back because of this young lady. I hate having to leave a review such as this, but we kept giving her chances. Originally giving the benefit of the doubt that she was having an off day. My neighbor still gave her a tip today, although she admitted that the young lady didn't deserve it. We personally feel that if she can not pull her act together, she needs to go elsewhere. Today, by far, was the worst service we've received from her over a two week span. Writing this does not make me happy at all. But, in order to keep this wonderful eatery in good standing, she's only pulling it down. We decided on this forum because we were upset enough after our meal today that neither of us felt we could be "polite" in person to bring...

I enjoy Cafe USA as a nice little lunch spot close to my work. I almost always order the same sandwich, because it is really delicious and so filling that I can take half of it home for lunch the next day. The fries are soft, not crispy, and have a good flavor and texture. The sandwich bread is perfectly toasted and the avocado tastes fresh. The staff at Cafe USA are really helpful and have fantastic service. I am always greeted right when I walk in and handed a menu quickly. The tables are always clean, as is the restaurant in general. Food is served quickly and drinks filled right when they should be. The only complaint I would have is that there is a faint smell of smoke in the dining area. They are located next to a cigar shop, which is probably why, because it is not an overpowering smell as if anyone has smoked inside. However, if you are particularly sensitive to that smell you will notice it. That being said, the food is delicious and the staff are so warm and friendly, that this has become a favorite...

This spot has been a good spot for breakfast since moving to NWA. This visit may have been a 1 off... We sat for a moment before a girl quickly said hello and offered us drinks and told us our server would be right with us... She was very nice. Our server took longer than normal to greet us. He was nice, too. We placed our order. It took an unusually long (20-30min but i didnt time it...) amount of time for our breakfast to be ready. Our server apologized several times and said the kitchen was swamped at one point. I looked around the restaurant less than half full and surprisingly said ok...

Everything looked great when it arrived. Everything tasted great except the chicken fried steak. The batter didn't stick to the protein and would fall apart, and the seasoning was heavy on the salt this time. Given the length of time it took to receive, I opted not to share as it did not look like a manager was on duty during our visit.

I will still visit this location unless this continues to...
