Friend got a strawberry matcha latte and it tasted and smelled like rotten strawberries! Was so terrible everyone who tried couldn't drink it. When asked if they could remake it or get a different drink they were told no. All they were willing to do is give them 10% off next visit. $7 a drink is too much to pay for something to just throw in the trash! Who wants to come back anyway after an experience like that with no customer service follow through. The strawberries were so pale and colorless! Bleh!
Edited to respond to your response..... Why would a business owner personally attack a customer for their taste? I didn't say a word about your matcha! And if you had just done a little research instead of instantly getting ugly and defensive, you could see that most of my reviews are positive and I don't like asking people for free food. I have turned down free food when I've let someone know something was wrong with their product. You didn't even speak to me I wasn't even there! They brought the drink to me to taste because of my matcha experience. I purchase and have my own certified organic ceremonial grade matcha shipped to my home! I even explained to them it wasn't the Matcha, as my review states, it is your strawberry puree- it is past its prime and you are still serving it. I am a small business owner myself and I support many a small businesses. Just because I had a bad experience with your product doesn't give you the right to personally attack me. You should not be running this business if this is how you respond to a bad review. I feel like you responded to me like this because you thought that I was a kid. But I'm a 43 year old woman who finds your actions disrespectful and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBoba Journey is far and away the best place for boba/bubble tea in NWA ā and honestly, probably the best Iāve had anywhere. (The only place that comes close is in St. Louis, soā¦)
Their selection is phenomenal (the most extensive menu anywhere, hands down), and their prices are very reasonable, especially considering that they include the so-called ātoppingsā (which actually end up on bottom) at no additional cost. In fact, they do substitutions, too ā again, no extra charge. Theyāve got every imaginable flavor of poppers, jellies, etc. Countless drink options including more than a dozen genuine milk teas, fresh fruit smoothies, Italian sodas, coffee beverages (e.g., Vietnamese)⦠and more!
Best of all, they use high-quality ingredients like real milk (not powdered), so everything tastes better and is better for you.
Oh, and Iāve never had bad service. Theyāre friendly, efficient, accurate⦠I regularly drive out of my way (passing by other options) to visit Boba Journey, and it never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spotted this boba shop while out and decided to give it a try since my partner enjoys milk tea. Iām personally not a huge fan of milk tea, so I got him a brown sugar milk tea and got myself a matcha latte. I tried his milk tea and it was DELICIOUS. Very sweet though (which I was told it would be), but a great alternative if you typically enjoy sweet lattes or fraps. The couple who the shop belongs to are so nice! I highly recommend this small, locally owned shop. And if you donāt typically enjoy milk tea, try their brown sugar milk tea when youāre craving something sweet! I would post a photo, but by the time I realized this place deserved a raving review, weād already finished our drinks. I will try to remember next time, because we will definitely...
